**TNF on Prime - Ravens 2-5 at Dolphins 2-6**(+7.5, 50.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

Started Tua with Baker out on Bye in one league. Figured after Tua's big week last week and the Ravens depleted defense wasn't a bad play even with it being a Thursday game. Not looking great so far :ptts:

Is there a penalty for strangling?
Apparently not. That was clean - it’s just rare that someone can yoink a grown man off his feet in the opposite direction than they were running. By the neck, no less. Ouch.
a horse collar is a penalty but a side neck tackle is ok?

when you say you are concerned about player saftey but then you have contradicting policies....
Well, they could outlaw tackling I guess
you can tackle without grabbing someones neck though
Yes but where’s the fun in that?
:oldunsure:
Plus, the DBs are trying to tackle some pretty shifty guys. Grab anything you can sometimes
from that perspective anything is legal. I'm just saying that if a horse collar is illegal and I vaguely remember someone getting penalized for sacking a QB by the neck but a side neck tackle is ok?

a face mask is a big no no but sure, lets grab someone's neck.

Dude, I was watching and eating and I was like, “Oh, I guess we’re ignoring any semblance of unwritten decorum.”

#24 of Baltimore whipped himself recklessly around Miami’s neck and landed on Gordon’s knee. If I’m coaching that dude needs an ambulance in the 3rd.

Miami finds new ways to look bad

-Wide Receiver fumbles inside their own 20 yd line on the 2nd drive when they were ahead 3-0?
Then bing bang boom and it's Ravens 7-3, turnovers cannot happen if you're Miami right now, just not good enough to overcome that kind of catastrophic turnover

-False start on 4th and 1 on the Ravens' 10 yd line? 4th and 6 and then the lame Kicker shanks a 35 yd try and suddenly Miami looks like a pee wee football team
Just fire Larry Borum tomorrow, walk him to his car and thank him for his efforts
It's time to send a message, he'll be lucky to be in a camp next August, I never want to see him in a Miami uniform again

What the heck was Tua doing on the 4th and 5 where they decided to go for it in very makable FG range but throw it up for nobody and it stays 14-6, this was 2nd to last drive befor ehalftime?

-Did I see a Hail Mary - 1 one thousand, 2 one thousand, 3 one thousand, 4 one thousand, 5 one thousand, S-A-C-K!
That was how the Half ended at mid field, Tua couldn't chuck it into the end zone

Tua was OK in the 1st Q and part of the 2nd, his teammates kinda let him down time and time again

What happened to Ollie Gordon? He's done for the night I would guess, rolled up from behind? Oof

Bear fans warned us about Borom.

But Jonah Savaiinaea has been worse. He missed a block on the Achane screen up the left side that could've been a TD. Jonah has a 28.4 PFF grade - a pass blocking grade of 5.8, both are 82 out of 82 among qualifying guards. Much worse than even Liam. But Grier told reporters that they're more worried about the oline than he is!

If something happened to Henry, I think they might have something with Mitchell
He’s a very good RB. It’s a shame he’s stuck behind Henry.
If he hadn't torn his ACL, I wonder if they'd have even signed Henry.
I wondered the same. That was such a fluke injury, too. M

I grabbed him in the mid-20 rounds in both of my off-season start-ups. Hoping he sees an expanded role next year. Henry can’t do this forever, can he?

OH, COME ON!!!
He was explosive prior to the injury. He had a nice little run before hyperextending his knee. That was an ugly injury to watch. But yeah - he looked like a legit starter. Between him & Hill they could have had a decent running game.

Memories:
Ewers coming soon?
Ewers is the emergency 3rd QB. Maybe Wilson, who is a prime example of Grier's incompetence as a GM. Wilson was signed minutes into free agency for 6M guaranteed. Ewers outplayed him in the preseason. Not surprising to NFL fans, especially Jet fans. Why Ewers isn't the 2nd QB like he was 3 weeks ago is a mystery.
