Torry Holt future prospects? (1 Viewer)

With Torry Holt saying his knee will impact him for the "rest of his career", how far down the dynasty list does he drop? He seemed to take a decent hit in the Dynasty Rankings thread here in the SP, and in the Audible they talked about moving him this week. Where do you guys think his value lies? Should you move him? What should you be looking to get?

Did a quick search and was surprised that I didn't come up with anything, so if there's a previous thread then sorry... and please point me over there.

I acquired Holt in a trade and am going to need him this coming week with Owens on a bye. I am hoping the Browns defense is just what the doctor ordered for Holt. But, I have somewhat tempered expectations, as the problem seems to be keeping Bulger upright. Perhaps a healthy SJax will play a part in calming a pass rush.

Holt has been a disappointment and he's still on track for 91/1065/7. I'll take that production. With Cleveland, NO, SF, Seattle, Atlanta and Cincy coming up on the schedule the next six weeks he should be fine.

It shows you just how good Holt really is since he's on pace for 91/1065/7 with virtually the entire offense in melt-down mode. That said, he's a prime candidate to go off in the 2nd half, IMO. Things could easily come together for the Rams' O (having to play catch-up will only help Holt, as well).

Holt's dynasty value is a bit low right now if you are making a push to win things this year. He had a down 2nd half last year and his team is a mess. Much of the negative perception is because he has played at such a high level. His true dynasty value is really tough to guage because some people put almost all emphasis on the next couple of seasons while others look out much further. I personally feel he is right at that window of 2 or 3 more good seasons and then not having much value at all after that.

CLE isn't known for a solid pass rush defense. I think Bulger will have time to throw and Holt should see the majority of looks (or at least I'm hoping). As a Browns fan, I hope this isn't true as I would love to see my team beat StL, but in all reality I fully expect a bounce back week from the StL Offense.

The Rams haven't bounced back all year, and I don't think they will against the Browns. The Browns are pretty good this year offensively. Defensively they aren't, but they will be rested from their bye, and I expect them to beat the Rams.

The Browns do look better this yr, but we are talking about Holt and his fantasy football Dynasty status....If the Browns score a lot this week, then that would be good for Holt's short term value as he would get catches playing catch up. Long term I think he is still a great WR. Next year with a good O-line he should have a much better season and this yr isn't horrible as it is. I think over the next 2 years, he is top 10 still and possibly top 5-7.

I know what the topic matter is, but I was replying to the poster that was talking about hoping his Brown's team beats the Rams. Was that not obvious?
