Trade Analyzer vs Trade Dominator vs ? (1 Viewer)

Trade Analyzer is beta and it seems to be flawed. I put in a straight up highway robbery lopsided trade and it tells me my team is worse?!? It's under MyFBG but there's no explanation of whether it's using my custom scoring system or not so I have no idea how it's working. I guess that's why they say it's Beta...

Trade Dominator really does me no good because you can't even put in the custom scoring system like Draft Dominator or VBD App.

So what am I missing here? Is there some mystery app out there that I'm failing to find? Sure for a 1-1 swap I can use top 250 forward I guess, but what about package deals?

I use the Trade function in Lineup Dominator. I don't know how much I like it, but it's better than the Trade Analyzer feature which is only using preseason rankings.

There are a lot of dynamics to a trade; its not all about the numbers. I would be hesitant to rely on any computer program to tell me whether to do a trade or not.

Oh I don't "rely" on it. It's just more data. I'm a math guy and like to know what the impact would be from a project standpoint.

I use everything on FBGs as advice and pride myself on making my own decisions. Nothing wrong with using a tool that analyzes the overall picture for you and gives you numbers to look at.With that being said there is a lot more to a trade than "this guy is better than that guy". How will it affect your team as a whole? For example if you are trading a RB for a WR will you suffer during bye weeks at the RB position? Will this suffering offset the value of the WR you traded for? These are the things that most people don't think about that the tools project for you. I can sit down with pencil and paper and track it all out for myself or I can have a nice tool do it for me...The question is which tool. I played with Lineup Dominator and it looks like it wants me to fill rosters and schedules out for my entire league to get really accurate analysis. Looks like I'll be spending a few hours with it tomorrow night.Thanks for the replies!
