Trade deadline - what offensive player is going where? (3 Viewers)

MNF reporting Adams will not be traded, and I’ve never wanted analysts to be wrong more in my life.
Dude. I just made this thread.

(I had this written up and decided not to post it just because I make enough goofy non-helpful posts already. But since you bring it up, I'll post it 😄)
This isn’t a Davonte thread. It’s a trade deadline thread. That was just 1 contribution to it.

I made zero threads, it was pure facetion ... facetiousness ... faceciety ... what's the noun form of facetious?

I’ve heard Foreman as someone to watch but not sure if a team would give up anything for him.
With the injuries they have had at the rb position who knows if they would even move him. I will say he looks like a perfect Baltimore Raven RB
It’s all speciation, but with the season lost and Freeman becoming an UFA in the offseason, they could get by with Johnson and Evans until Herbert returns. Makes sense on paper, but maybe more wishful thinking than anything.

Been hearing buzz about Winston to MIN.
I saw a post on here and someone reacted excitedly about it.

That’s the buzz I’ve seen. lol
I can't verify source, but...

Would be surprised if the Saints moved him being tied for the division lead and Carr not exactly fully healthy. Plus I doubt they’d want to go the Taysom Hill route again as a backup plan.

I can't vouch for source, but...

Sources: trust me bro
I did see a reply to his post from Big Cat from Barstool saying "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE". Not that that means anything, but whoever this is Golson guy is, his post was at least noticed by someone.

Is Winston even worth it anymore tbh? Last time I saw him was in like 2021 and he looked bad.. I can only imagine 2 years older and rust what he would be like.

I get teams want to make the playoffs, but Minny might be better off trying Hall for the rest of the year, get a higher pick, and draft a QB.

That was me.

And I later learned that Twitter guy that posted it is constantly feeding false trade rumors every year for clicks.

So I wouldn’t not put much weight to it.

But the thought is exciting.

Maybe Favre wants to pop out of retirement. Source: me

The Raiders should seriously deal Adams to Detroit right now, before the flight home.
Lions are probably among the least likely teams to need a skill position player. Bills would make some sense for Adams to me, as they probably are just a shootout team going forward, and despite Fournette addition I don't think have any intention of becoming a balanced offense.

I'm pulling these completely out of my butt, but some (very unlikely) ideas I like for trades that would have huge fantasy implications.

1. Kansas City trading for Cooper Kupp. Rams season is falling apart, it seems like Puka/Atwell can be the 1/2, and Rams need to start the rebuilding process. Maybe something like KC's 1 and 4 for Rams 2 and Kupp? KC isn't getting back to the Super Bowl if they don't have someone besides Kelce who can make plays, and KC is in their window with Kelce/Jones. A cheaper option could be Hollywood Brown, though that isn't as interesting, which would mean it's more likely I suppose.

2. Cincinnati trading for Zach Moss. JT signed long term, and the Bengals need an alternative (not replacement necessarily) for Mixon.

3. Minnesota trading for Kyler Murray. Personally, I'd stick with Kyler and use my 2 1sts next year to give him more help, but that may not be Arizona's plan. I'd love to see Kyler with a good OL, a competent play caller, and the JJ/Addison/Hock trio. Would Kyler cost a 1st? Could you get by with maybe say, 2 day 2 picks, and Andrew Booth and/or Ezra Cleveland?

4. Baltimore trading for Aaron Jones. GB is going nowhere, and Jones would give the Ravens a RB capable of big plays, who doesn't mind splitting work.

5. Dallas trading for James Conner. Could argue getting Zeke back, but I don't know if that's a can of worms either side would want to open. Either way, its becoming clear that Dallas is a contender, and that Pollard needs a power complement, in order to stay fresh.

Word on the former bird app is the Pats are looking to move Zeke

All I know is last go around he was a wonderful FF qb>>>.Throw a pick 6 ....Right back on the field get a td pass next time....rinse and repeat.

Keep him in crab legs and the sky’s the limit.

a story circulating Nashville indicates the titans owner vetoed a trade of Henry to the Ravens.
So he’s probably not moving.

Jake Haener!

Makes sense. As someone who lives 2 hours from Nashville and an hour and half to Atlanta the only NFL jersey I have ever seen here is Henry ones. This is college football land and Henry land. He sells tickets.

As a T. Spears owner this bums me out.

As a Dallas fan, I don't want James Conner. I would rather see them go out and get Henry/Cook/Foreman or literally anyone other than James Conner. He is hurt right now and seems to get dinged up pretty regularly during the season.

A little late for him isn't it? I suppose for a little of nothing in return.

Barring a late afternoon flurry, looks like it will be reverting back to years past when there were few if any trades of substance.
Got up today jacked for some fantasy impactful trades and the major blockbuster of the day is in the NBA and the big NFL trade so far is for defense.

And biggest trade in the NFL I feel strongly goes down today will be Jaylon Johnson. Meh.

So you've already given up on Perine to Cincy? I'm disappointed. <kidding>

Makes sense considering I don't think they got offered much, not enough to offset value to the franchise above and beyond the record. Probably a day three pick.

Bummer.

Still think they'd trade him if someone stepped up on the offer but not expecting it.

I know you are kidding but in all serious after I wrote that beat writer for the Bengals has mentioned it numerous times. But he shot it down citing that Cincy is just not aggressive like that and does not like to make in-season moves.

Still think it makes sense for both sides, and Denver would listen, but Cincy's not talking, to anyone about anything it appears.

As a side note as exciting as it must be to be a Bengals fan right now I'd be super annoyed. They need a TE and another RB so bad but they won't do a thing. They can win the SB anyway but I'd imagine most fans of teams wish their GM would act like Roseman and not like the Bengals.
