Tim your predictions scare me.  Have you been correct in any of them yet?
I got 3 out of 4 games this weekend; how’s that? (I admit I didn’t see the Titans coming).

But tonight I’m taking the underdog: Clemson will find a way to slow down the LSU offense just enough to win the title once again.
Thanks Tim

Is this kind of bullying acceptable on this forum now?
Doesn’t bother me. It’s not bullying. If you’re going to put yourself out there with predictions, and I have, you gotta be willing to take a little razzing if they don’t come through. That’s fine; I don’t take it personally.

Besides, my most important prediction remains unchanged: so long as the Democratic candidate is not Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, Donald Trump is going to lose the election. Forget my track record and consider the old saying about the broken clock.

Great to hear the winners cheering loud enough to totally drown out any losers that may be there. odds are there were none since it costs big $ to be there.
I think this was in jest, but I think it’s symbolic of why the Republican Party has gone crazy.  The idea that having lots of money = virtue is just as big of a problem as racism is in the Republican Party, IMO.

This is awesome. I’m so proud that Donald Trump is my President.
Hi @Widbil83

My firm opinion is that you are highly intelligent, very knowledgeable, and that your strong support for President Trump is absolutely earnest. I also note that in recent months you’ve become a pretty regular contributor to the Politics Forum.

I’d like to know if you’re interested in a debate with me about Trump’s Presidency. It could be lengthy: we could cover all important issues from impeachment to immigration to the economy to Iran to foreign policy: all aspects of his term in office so far. There would be no time limits so that if you or I were away from the forum for several days or longer it would simply be delayed. We could have set rules: initial points, rebuttals, questions from the “audience”, questions to each other. We could have other people that we both trust fact check any claims we made. The one restriction, as a point of honor, is that neither of us could link other people’s arguments or quote other people’s arguments- we have to make our own. We can, however, quote facts and statistics and provide links to those.

I think this would be both a lot of fun and very informative and people would enjoy reading it. I believe we could keep it absolutely respectful and refrain from personal insults and rude comments.

Are you interested?

Tim is right. It's definitely not bullying. It's not very cool and the "I told you so" type victory laps are always pretty lame. But calling it bullying and then turning it into the inevitable insult to Trump voters is also the kind of stuff we don't want.

Reading this kind of stuff is discouraging. Please be way better if you're going to post here.

Are you going to slap him with a white glove to start?

I know you guys think this is funny. But it’s a serious offer. If he doesn’t want to do it it’s open to you or to any Trump fan that wants a serious, respectful debate.
I think this is a great idea, would just ask you take it to PM or start another thread for you guys. TIA.

Sounds boring. How about one where you are allowed to freely insult each other with no interventions from the mods. That's something that would be entertaining. I mean insults are part of Trumps game so if you are looking for something realistic, you need to include that.

A hardcore champion thread?

Thunderdome!

This thread has been much easier to read in the last few days.
In general most of the threads around here that I’ve poked my head into the past few days have been better, imo of course.  I’ve seen a lot less shots being taken.  Not sure why but it’s nice.

On that note there‘s been a pretty civil and very not Trump bashing discussion going on in the socialism thread.  I’d personally love to hear from some of the intelligent right leaning guys who regularly post here thoughts over there about that topic.  @BladeRunner has been doing an admirable job of stating his case/thoughts though he’s thoroughly out numbered.

Just a suggestion of course.  Peace and love, peace and love.
