Tyrone Brackenridge's hit on Brandon Marshall (1 Viewer)

link no workie

I say it was cheap shot, but it's hard to prove that, he has plausible deniability saying he was trying to punch the ball out and just missed badly.

It was obvious. No one goes for a tackle and balls up their fist like that.
"Its better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone think your an idiot as oppose to opening your mouth and removing all doubts."You know nothing about actually tackling if you think this is a deliberate cheap shot

Anyone worried about Marshall's alarming lack of TDs? Will they ever arrive?
Marshall has shown the size, hands, and body control to be a terrific target on the fade, and the yards after catch ability and speed (for a man his size) to break short catches into long TDs, and break the tackles inside the 10 to turn those catches into TDs. The TDs will come with luck and consistency from Cutler. Off the top of my head, I can remember at least two times this year that Cutler badly missed Marshall when he was open on a short end zone throw, and two other times Marshall was tackled inside the 5.

Who else has TDs on that team? I am more impressed by the fact that in my PPR league he has double digit fantasy points EVERY week. That's great consistency.

Get a clue and watch some film. It's obvious you don't know the difference between going for a tackle and punching someone in the groin.

It is tough to say if it was a cheap shot. It certainly appears to be, but everything is moving so fast mid-play, it is hard to tell whether or not he did it on purpose. Being a Broncos fan who hates the Chiefs, I am inclined to say yes it was a cheap shot.

As far as wearing a cup, that is just something you cannot do if you hope to maintian your quickness. Back in my playing days I started at CB, and never once wore a cup. Never got hit there either, thank goodness. It gives you a decided advantage as far as agility and speed. Most WRs in the NFL don't wear any leg pads and the smallest shoulder pads allowed, it is risky, but just makes sense. You have to get any edge available, save steroids.

I bet players from the 50's and 60's would laugh that we call this a cheap shot. It was probably just part of the game back then.
