No confirmation yet, but sources pretty high up at ESPN say a health condition just diagnosed this afternoon could force Childress to resign this afternoon!!!!!!

Stay tuned!

This is sad news to be sure. Childress could have had any team in the Superbowl in 5 years but he chose to go to Minnesota where they will never be in the Superbowl.

Hope he gets his health back soon though.

Well I heard that Zygi is going to sell the team back to Red McCombs, who will likely move the team to San Antonio.

True story.

If true, it's likely that Brad Johnson would be the first player/head coach in a long time.

Either that, or he'd just retire and have Tarvaris Jackson start instead.

Oh, the domino effect this could have!

I heard Mike Tice is on a plane headed for Minnesota.

These threads remind me of a web site we had a few years back where you could give it the name of a player or coach and pick from about three different "tragic" [fake] news stories to send someone a link to...

Anyone know what the hell I'm talking about??

Does that web site still work?

Link??

Yeah, one of them was a player dying in a helicopter crash over Colorado, right?

Question: is there any such thing as "ESPN radio in Milwaukee" (from the original post before the title was edited)? I thought ESPN was all national.
