US Men's National Team (11 Viewers)

Since this is the US thread, is Harrison cap tied with 3 Lions? Relately, would we have need for his services?
So basically no. But it isn't completely clear either.
Would we need him? Winger is our strongest position, but he would seem to be in the mix if eligible.

jesus, if Leeds does not cough up the 2 goal lead late last game, they would be on 9 points. But I doubt anyone is complaining about the 7 point start.

Before the season I read an article that predicted Jesse would be the first manager fired. This start should give him some useful run way now as well as the all important buy in from players, which his coaching style demands else it all fall apart..

Impressive win and so so awesome to see the Leeds fans revel in it. Love seeing fans happy like that. Marsch has got that team flying high -- very fun that Americans are at the heart of it.

Do kind of wonder if he'll have to dial back the emotion a little bit. (Reminds me a lot of Klopp until a few years ago.)

Grant Wahl joked on Twitter that the way Aaronsen is terrorizing Koulibaly and Mendy today, we should all be pulling for a Senegal-US matchup in the first round of knockouts in Qatar.

Good line but we gotta get there first.

One thing I was thinking the other day - the new 5 substitute rule really helps Leeds - not so much that they are super deep but rather it allows them to continue to run themselves in to the ground with ample subs.

This is who he is though, going back to when he was a player. He is just jacked 24/7. The attitude the works great when every one is on board but as soon as a crack appears, it can tumble quickly (players basically revolted against him in Germany when the results did not follow).

By the way, if he is looking for one more Yank to play this style. Weston's incredible two way game would be awesome in the midfield here. I doubt Allegri would ever let him go though.

When he was still at NYC, I was hoping Harrison would switch over. He went to HS in the US, so I thought he'd have residency/citizenship close...but IIRC he wasn't there yet. And probably further away from that now...and IIRC, no lineage ties to the US.

Would someone please explained the benefit to Chelsea to loan out Pulisic?
Seriously. I didn't see the Spurs game where I heard they looked good, but man did their attack look lifeless today. Even when they put on Pulisic and Ziyech so that they had a lot of attackers on, they couldn't generate anything, and CP looked disjointed with everybody else.

Yeah if memory serves he need to stay another year to become eligible. Basically that ship sailed when he wanted to move to England.

Not a Yank, and it would crush me if it happens, but Kai Wagner makes so much sense on Leeds it’s rIdiculous. Plays in a similar system and Leeds desperately needs a LB. He can absolutely play in the Prem.
