US Men's National Team (4 Viewers)

Herrera's 24-man roster is made up exclusively of players based in Liga FPD, Costa Rica's first division.

I can't really think of any CR players playing in Europe... But there must be some.

It is not a murders row, that is for sure:

One at Valencia B

One at Westerlo (with Reynolds and Yow)

One in Scotland at Hearts

One in Greece at Aris

One in Latvia at Riga

One on Portugal at Rio Ave

[Plettenberg] Done deal: Lennard Maloney will join Mainz with immediate effect! Agreement has been reached—transfer fee less than €1 million fixed, plus bonuses, contract until 2028. Everything will be signed today—news to be confirmed soon

Thanks.
I saw one at Spartak Moscow too.

I've been half paying attention to the Dortmund game while working and only just realized that I accidentally was watching the Dortmund-Barcelona game from December 11th. Took me about 15 minutes after they "played through halftime" to figure out what was going on. :ROFLMAO:

PSV midfielder Malik Tillman flew to Qatar to work with a specialized doctor to rehabilitate his ankle injury. Sources around the player confirm that he will be examined and treated by doctor Pieter D'Hooghe, a specialist active at the Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital.

Jesus, the amount of dual nats in our system is limitless

Also: Chris Brady should be eligible for citizenship with Scotland and the Scottish FA is working on it with the hopes of a call up this year, sources add.

I believe as of right now every team with a US player has either advanced or is on target to advance to the next round of champions league.

Juventus, Milan, Monaco, PSV, Celtic and Dortmund.

Im 15 mins in.

Frenetic.

And the ref seems happy to let CR tackle through the back of US players.

#17 showing decent stuff so far.

Oh Poch what a line. 🤣

It may have been broken English but in describing Luna having a broken nose, begging to keep playing and then getting the sweet assist 30 seconds later Poch says “he has big balls”. The interviewers (DMB, Dunseth, Martino, etc) just lost it, laughing with him.

He then reworded after he stopped laughing to say “he showed great character” :)

He was clearly impressed with the group and it was very nice to see them respond to his coaching even after only a couple of weeks.

This was an interesting bit of trivia

When Diego Luna was doing well with San Jose Earthquakes academy, U.S. Soccer youth coaches thought he was unfit/overweight, and refused to call him up

San Jose had to show them the fitness program Luna was on, to insist he was “barrel chested”, not overweight

One or two of Luna, McGlynn, Jones and Ageyman could make the nations league roster.

Shame Steffen was never able to put it all together. He so looks the part at times.

Overall, this was certainly one of the better camp cup cakes I can remember. I enjoyed the style and quality of play in both games.
Yeah, some good stuff here. I was impressed with their shape- dominated both games by keeping it together. And enough skill to provide some entertainment.

I thought the #14 was the best US player tonight.

Luna flashed for sure, but some bad to go with the flashes.. including not very good defending.

Considering all the good work White did up front including the goal, he also was too wasteful up there.

I liked the 17, but he faded in the first half, so I'm not so sure.

Cremaschi too slow on the ball deciding...will hopefully continue to grow and speed up his thought.

Was Jones the LB? If so, he was solid.

Thought Ag was terrible, until that goal. Even his only good play before that ended up in clanked lost dribble. Had zero touch coming off the bench.

Those two Steffen saves were fantastic. Some iffy distribution.

I still want to see more of Matko who flashes like Luna.

Jack didn't elevate as much with the higher pace and pressure.
