This is great. Thanks!
It’s open for edits. It’s our own little group think exercise. I’m leaning more and more to adding some of the bigger named Yutes. This is great. Thanks!
That is odd. I swear I fixed De La Fuente before....I edited to fix him as Haiti, not Spain.
They never tried to get him a loan from what I understand. As a CB, he is hopefully fine at Bayern 2 for the year. Next year we probably want a loan though unless a miracle happens and he breaks into the first team.I had lost track of Richards - I take it a loan did not materialize?
I think they've kept him on purpose. Currently they only have 4 true CBs on the senior team. A couple of injuries/suspensions will likely give Richards at least bench time. They never tried to get him a loan from what I understand. As a CB, he is hopefully fine at Bayern 2 for the year. here are his highlights of his game today as a second half sub. There is a ton to like in his game. He is so good on the ball and so confident in his passing at just 15.We may want to keep this one in mind for the future.
One of the very young kids who is starting to play in the USL this year is Moses Nyeman. He is only 15. He looks very comfortable on the ball against adults here in what I think is only his second pro game ever. He is from DC United's system and plays for Loudan United in the USL Championship (1 division lower than MLS).

We may need a new threadAnother day, another teenager I'd never heard of yesterday.
That is odd. I swear I fixed De La Fuente before....I edited to fix him as Haiti, not Spain.
that was me. Ok, I just updated a bunch too for the players below.that was me.
I made some more updates to current teams and loans. Fixed the issue with the age formulas that made sorting the list messy.
I hope he gets meaningful minutes. It was a free transfer.Newcastle United have completed the signings of midfielder Kyle Scott and goalkeeper Jake Turner. More here: https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/magpies-sign-young-duo-1/ … #NUFC
From what I saw on twitter, I think he is starting out with the U23's.Did we discuss Kyle Scott to Newcastle? Twitter

Not sure if he would be better off still in the loan army, but I'd think Newcastle may use him some this season. Esp if there's injuries and/or schedule gets tight. From what I saw on twitter, I think he is starting out with the U23's.
It would be a massive jump for the kid if he can get minutes. His highest quality league to date is only the Dutch second division. Not sure if he would be better off still in the loan army, but I'd think Newcastle may use him some this season. Esp if there's injuries and/or schedule gets tight.
what are you hoping to learn from this?I'd like to see the population density difference between US population and DA players' honetowns.

"Our medical department are doing everything they can, but Tyler's injury is complicated. Suddenly you're pain-free and expect to get involved again, but it's misleading." - Julian Nagelsmann on Tyler Adams' groin injury
the fact that after all of these months no one knows what the hell is going on is really disconcerting. I hope RBL are getting as many medical opinions as possible. We just can’t have nice things
Just needed to scan a few more.I scanned the first few names and didn't see Dest, must have been an error somewhere.
He's no Jonjo Shelvey. Not sure if he would be better off still in the loan army, but I'd think Newcastle may use him some this season. Esp if there's injuries and/or schedule gets tight.
We should do an over under on how many more times the US will play with out all three of the top names playing together :(
LOL at Sargent #6...cmon man.
HE'S THE WORST!LOL at Sargent #6...cmon man.
Nice to see my boy Weah get some press...despite the naysayers/haters in this thread.![]()
the "everyone hates Weah" is my least favorite shtick. It is neither funny nor does it make any sense. We break down every player, both the good and bad.HE'S THE WORST!
-everybody else in this thread
Okay, okay....it's intended to be tongue and cheek...I'll hang that one up.the "everyone hates Weah" is my least favorite shtick. It is neither funny nor does it make any sense. We break down every player, both the good and bad.
Hell we even try to find some nice things to say about Zardes![]()
Saw this earlier. Good news. Poor Wally Pipp.Fortuna Dusseldorf's top GK from last year is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.
Steffen is basically guaranteed to start the season as the #1 keeper now. If he impresses, he probably keeps that spot.
Maybe one of the board lawyers can make the argument in bold, like they had to do it in court or something.Probably the wrong thread for this but as many feared and predicted, US Soccer just publicly detailed that the women have earned more than the men because of the NWSL salaries and the women fired back stating that the salaries should not factor in and continue to threaten to see US Soccer in court.
I mean.....I'm not surprised....but come on.Probably the wrong thread for this but as many feared and predicted, US Soccer just publicly detailed that the women have earned more than the men because of the NWSL salaries and the women fired back stating that the salaries should not factor in and continue to threaten to see US Soccer in court.
Their argument boils down to the fact that the men get paid more at their club teams than the women do in NWSL, so it shouldn't count.Maybe one of the board lawyers can make the argument in bold, like they had to do it in court or something.
I can't even get my head around how/why they'd argue this doesn't count.
People are too attached to this story. It's emotional now, not logical. It's the evil men keeping the women from equal pay and no argument outside of "the women got exactly the same amount of money per game as the men" will suffice for them and I'm not entirely sure that would work for them either.I mean.....I'm not surprised....but come on.
And the sad thing is, nothing either side says or does at this point will move 90% of public opinion. Most people can't rationalize the financials and those that do just argue "well, the women are better, so they should get paid even more"
This is one of those issues that make me feel like I'm WAY smarter than most of the people out there.
The men aren't getting paid by US Soccer. Do men anywhere in the world have their professional salaries paid by the governing body of the national team?Their argument boils down to the fact that the men get paid more at their club teams than the women do in NWSL, so it shouldn't count.

I'm on their side generally, but unless there's something I'm just flat missing this seems like such a terrible argument I'm struggling to understand how anyone thinks using it is a good idea.
MLS was given money by USSF when they first started, but not in that way. No, I don't believe any national team governing body pays salaries for men's club teams. The men aren't getting paid by US Soccer. Their reaction statement to US Soccer today was insulting at best, embarrassing at worst. Someone should have been fired for putting that out as poorly written as it was.I'm on their side generally, but unless there's something I'm just flat missing this seems like such a terrible argument I'm struggling to understand how anyone thinks using it is a good idea.
Can you unpack this? Not familiar with this pieceAnd the fact that no media person is brave enough to point out the massive poison pill the women put into their CBA basically screwing many good players in the NWSL drives me nuts.
During the CBA, the women added the following clause:Can you unpack this? Not familiar with this piece
good luck seeing any decent sized media member point that one out.Oof. That's really bad
