It's the US Men's Bikini Thong Rollerblading Team. Their mission is to bring to life classic plays of the 30s and 40s as performed by men in bikini thongs on rollerblades.Sinn Fein said:US Mens-Bi-Trans Rugby Team?
Zero problem with them sticking up for their teammate. #3 started the mess and then slipped away. I noticed #2 from Bahrain with huge kick at someone in the crowd. No idea if he connected.NewlyRetired said:Video of the brawl that happened at the end of the US Bahrain U19 game today

U.S. international midfielder Alejandro Bedoya has signed with Major League Soccer and will become a member of the Philadelphia Union, according to multiple sources.
With the Chicago Fire holding the top spot in the league's allocation order for returning MLS players and select U.S. internationals, and also having an interest in signing Bedoya, the Union acquired the player's rights via a sign-and-trade with Fire.
Chicago acquired both general and targeted allocation money, a 2017 first round draft pick and discovery rights on an player whose name not disclosed as well as Philadelphia's spot in allocation order. That spot will now be first, since Philly was sitting at No. 2.
Back in January, the Fire traded away the No. 1 spot in the allocation order to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for the No. 2 spot and two first round draft picks.
The Rapids used the No. 1 spot to acquire U.S. international goalkeeper Tim Howard, thus allowing the Fire to move back into the No. 1 position.
Sources told ESPN FC that Bedoya's move will include a $1 million transfer fee and a salary of $1 million.
Nantes confirmed the transfer on Wednesday via Twitter.

he did at the 8 second mark of the video. It was not a great shot because it was from behind but he went down. But then they lost track of him when it became a scrum. How did #3 not get straight decked by someone after that?

it is uncanny how they keep ending up in this spot.pretty sure the Fire can still get Zidane.
it's the long-con. eventually, zizou will succumb to their wiles.it is uncanny how they keep ending up in this spot.

yes, that happens all the time in Olympic soccer because they need the extra time to fit the schedule in before the games end.Wait so the group matches get started before the opening ceremony?
Maybe I'm interpreting wrong but are you concerned we won't get 3 points? I'm more worried about the Trinidad match, even though we're home, that StV away. They are 0-4 with a -16 GD. I think you're right that it could be a very ugly match but I'd be down right shocked if the outcome is anything other than 3 points.Might even be for the best because I fear with the field this is going to be one very ugly game. 3 points of any kind will be more than welcome. Style and grace are going to go on the back burner I think.
Concerned might be overstating it but history tells us we might have some issues.Maybe I'm interpreting wrong but are you concerned we won't get 3 points?
I'm reading the deal is 3 1/2 years, thru end of 2019 seasonI think Ale is going to be happy with that salary if he did get the $1m a year.
Ted, any word on the length of the deal? I am guessing 3 years.
Charlie finally returned last week from cancer. The Philly fans are going to love him if they keep their expectations in check. Not really in the Nats picture anymore, but Davies has been traded to the Union where he will reunite with Ale, who was his teammate at BC.
Lol at ANY Philly fans keeping "their expectations in check"...Charlie finally returned last week from cancer. The Philly fans are going to love him if they keep their expectations in check.
It seems pretty clear that he has Gotze's spot now. Lewa will take most of the striker minutes. Muller will probably play there at times, but Green appears to be the dedicated "backup striker." So some cup games, maybe some of the less important CL group matches, and possibly 4 or 5 starts in the BL. And then some sub appearances. If there's a big injury to Lewa or Muller, Bayern will move in January.Karl-Hienze Rumminege announced that Bayern is likely done with transfers this summer after the Kingsly Coman deal.
If this is true, it raises an interesting possibility.
Wiki is listing 23 players right now on the top roster for Bayern (which includes Coman) and Green is still one of the 23.
Does anyone know what the roster rules (number of players etc) are for the Bundesliga?

WE'RE GOING TO WIN THE WORLD CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Lol at ANY Philly fans keeping "their expectations in check"...
I wish MLS would release the allocation money amounts that exchange hands. It is impossible to make any real judgement on these deals with out knowing the cash amounts which directly affect the cap space.Union traded their first round picks the next two drafts for Bedoya and Davies.
Earnie appears to be making a big bet on their academy churning out first teamers. Hopefully that benefits the Nats down the road too
ok- so the pace of the game was definitely slow, with players from both sides not making the extra run. given that, here's what I saw...@El FloppoHow did Julian look look last night live?

...pretty sure Philly fans don't even know what the WC is...I am still having a hard time comprehending this, mostly due to my poor perceptions. It seems pretty clear that he has Gotze's spot now. he didn't strike me as a difference maker last night... something you'd hope for from your lone striker, and as you say expect from anybody on a BM, RM, etc first team (through the top 23). but again, he more than displayed the minimals required to play in a top level, IMO; I think he'd do well in a lesser league- he has a nice nose for space in front of goal, and pretty decent touch/vision.I am still having a hard time comprehending this, mostly due to my poor perceptions.
I tend to perceive that on giants teams like Bayern, that the back up players on the first team roster are good enough to start on 95% of the teams in the world. I look at Green as someone who would struggle to find starts in MLS, much less in any top 15 type league.
I don't think it's all that unheard of. He's in essentially the same position as Bertrand Traore or Kelechi Iheanacho. Or Chupa Akpom, I guess. Seems like more and more teams are stocking up on chance creators, but not stocking depth in strikers. I didn't love how Green played last night, but he is infinitely better as a striker than as a wing. Ancelloti is dead right about that. For a team like Bayern that wants to create chances, his skill set isn't a bad fit. He has a knack for a quick run to get frontside of the CB (not surprising that Sergio Ramos wasn't having that last night).I am still having a hard time comprehending this, mostly due to my poor perceptions.

If this is right, my surprise is roughly 9.9 / 10. If he's in the 23 he's probably in line for at least, what, 1000 of Bayern's roughly 5000 minutes this year?Ramsay Hunt Experience said:It seems pretty clear that he has Gotze's spot now. Gotze had 1200 total minutes in all comps (and 957 in the BL with 11 starts). So I think that 1000 for Julian seems high. I would expect to see more of Muller at ST. My guess is that this is an analytics driven decision. They got 6 goals out of Gotze in 1200 minutes. If they determine that they only need 700 - 800 minutes out of that spot, at a true fraction of the cost, while they keep developing a revolving door of young players to fill that spot until one sticks, they can concentrate their resources elsewhere. If this is right, my surprise is roughly 9.9 / 10. Am I out to lunch? Is Green still considered a top-end young player? I can't really get my head around this one.
that's fantastically amazing... even if it's just lip service.Brian Bilello ✔ @RevsPrez
Very difficult for us. Key was making sure that it was something Charlie wanted for him and his family. Would never have done it otherwise
Timothy Weah is one of the first of this type. The more washed up EPL/LaLiga/Bundes players we get over here the better, especially those in their 30's. My thinking is that they will hopefully start producing babies here on American soil and in 18 years we will have Pirlo jr. lining up with Lampard jr. at midfield![]()
