These guys know that Apollo Creed was literally beaten to death when he wore that outfit, right?
Gerrit in the mixer!lol - we're better playing kickball
It already is.This shootout is going to be worse quality than the game
Remember when Canada was good for like a year? lol
Weah needs to get off to a good start as chances will be few this year.
Juventus has been removed from the Europa Conference league this year as part of a plea agreement with UEFA over FFP.
I don't know if they listed it. My guess may have been Roldan but I don't know for sure. Much better we did not need to find out.Who was going to take the last PK if needed?

It was sadly striking. I think we created like 8 corners just ramming the ball straight down the middle like it was 1983lol - we're better playing kickball

This was very disturbing. I have been happy with Reynolds up to this game but that was only offensively since he was never tested defensively. This was the first time we got to see him in some one on ones and he did not come out looking good at all. Also relevant that our European starter right back is getting cooked by a dude who plays for Nashville.
That is going to be a big decision for BJ.why is vazquez not starting?
If people are wondering about Turner's t-shirt, it said RIP Malia.
Turner works with kids with cancer and sadly one of the children he interacted with pass away.
Panama has looked great this GC. This US squad could play their best and still get rolled. The US will lose to Panama if they play anything close to this bad again, IMO.
The US lost in the quarter finals in 2000 (on pk's to Colombia)
Happy to hear they won. Has the US ever been eliminated this early?
IMO this was the hardest version of the Gold Cup ever. There were only 12 teams and 3 of the were guests in Peru, Colombia and South Korea. The US lost in the quarter finals in 2000 (on pk's to Colombia)
I talked about this earlier as well. I wonder if they will have the guts to change things up mid tournament. Cowell is the only wide player we have on the roster with any willingness to try things and he is still fairly raw. What I did see though is that I hope ggg isn't married to the 433. Just didn't seem to jive tonight.
There is also the club vs country aspect. At club you can train a ton in a specific system. At the national team level it is not as easy to swap formations due to lack of any time to train with players you normally never play with.I hate to say it it but so many coaches have a "system" you must fit into. The 433 isn't easy to switch with just a sub and a move...
Play a system with what's available not the other way around
McKennie better be careful might have another suspension coming his wayI can't see which US players are involved but US and Canada got into scuffle walking to their locker rooms.
Yeah, when I read your comment about Canada outplaying us I was thinking we'd watched different games. US was pretty dominant in the 2nd hour, despite all the problems. Canada didn't create hardly anything. The PK was their first shot on goal. And the 2nd goal is an ~easy save for Turner except for the deflection. The raw stats read like the US won the game by 4 goals instead of barely getting through to the PK's.
