Gio Reyna - Parma have offered €6M + bonuses to Borussia Dortmund, but they ask for little more. Meanwhile, Parma offered Gio Reyna a three-year contract plus an option for another and a €25M release clause: some details to be filed, but there are the conditions for Gio to arrive in Italy.

Josh Sargent - being heavily linked with Wolfsburg (Bundesliga). This deal feel through as Sargent reportedly rejected the move.

Ok...just googled. Son of Malaga Uruguayan dad, just signed with RM. Born in NC while his dad played for the RailHawks, but sounds like he's Spanish. Eligible for all 3. got a callup last year for the US yutes and scored vs Croatia. Didnt find anything that said he would commit one way or the other. Kid plays all left foot...strong on the ball with nice skills (vs other kids).

He seems a pretty heavy US lean. He's pretty much always joined our camps when available. He's never appeared for Spain and his last Uruguay appearance was in 2023 (before the first US camp of that age group).

ETA: he's missed a lot of time with injury over the last year and so has missed camps

That seems way low if you think they will be mostly healthy. They combined for 30 league goals last year.

I may have stated my question poorly. I was not asking people to choose over or under based on my guess. I was asking people to set their own over under bench mark.

What would you set yours at?

Pepi: 13 goals in 2021
Balogun: 21 in 2022/23

Pepi clearly has the largest upside. He could even hit 20 if he takes a couple of pk's. 15-16 for Sargent seems like a good target. I have no idea on Balogun. Even if healthy I am not sure how much time he will be getting. If he is a starter, I would hope for 12 or so.

If Pepi stays healthy (and remains at PSV), I'd consider 20 an absolute floor for him. He's currently a slight betting favorite to be the top scorer in the Eredivisie.

He played for PSV for 8 seasons.
Only one season did he play less than 2000 minutes. His average was around 2700 minutes.
He hit 20 or more goals in 4 of the 8 seasons.
He ranged from a low of 8 goals to a high of 29 goals.
His most impressive year was 28 goals because he had 0 PK goals that year. The 29 goals were buffed with 6 pk's.

Tillman picked up an injury in training and did not dress for Leverkusen’s game. They do not know how long he will be out. They are hoping it is a day to day thing but are ruling him out of their next game against Chelsea.

It's some sort of god-awful cluster**** regarding Ter Stegan. My understanding, which might be completely wrong, is that he was really pissed off that they sat him last year to avoid paying him a bonus and didn't care for some of the offseason treatment and/or chatter. And is playing some sort of game with his medical condition/injury/not sure in order to royally **** Barca and keep them from freeing up the funds that it would take to replace him. Barca have lost their minds about all this and have turned him into public enemy #1. Which makes him want to screw the team even more.

Regardless of whether I have that right, it's a total flaming dumpster.

What im reading is that Allegri now rates Musah and wants him around. But it doesnt sound like hes considered the right fit for the 3 man MF they intend to run, so if Napoli or Forest come sniffing back around with the right money, it might happen

Eta .. another Milan MF, Bondo, just accepted a move out- leaving the team with 6 MFs which apparently their target. 2 other MFs are for sale, and clearly not in their plans. Musah would obviously be cover for the highly rated people they've brought in and not featured...so not necessarily optimal for him getting minutes and showing his qualities before the WC.

It's Barcelona so you can be assured both sides are heavily planting stories in their media. Seems weird that we would elect to have surgery so late in the offseason.

Always drama about "registering" players due to La Liga rules, but I would assume it gets done.

On USMNT right back Alexander Freeman, per sources: NO agreement between Orlando City and Villarreal on transfer. Orlando still don't want to sell this summer. 18 months left on contract. Orlando have an offer out to make him U-22 initiative.

Freeman could run down contract and leave in January 2027.

Villarreal one of many teams who want Freeman.

Yep, there is no clearer indication that the Euro season is close at hand than our players getting hurt.

Pulisic has been ruled out of at least the next two friendlies due to an ankle injury and Tillman is still hurt and has not yet played for BL. Tillman missed today’s game and is expected to miss the DFK Cup game coming up.
