Not wrong, just shortsighted. I take classes at UCLA Extension and I'm older than that. They try and get older students into writing, journalism, etc. I wouldn't do a double-take at all knowing that a lot of these programs are designed for older or working people.

While there's nothing at all wrong with older people going to college (I'd love to go back if I were retired), 41 isn't expected when you hear people talking about "a couple of college students" and especially "a couple of college students" who stole jerseys from the NFL draft. My mind definitely envisions 18-20 year olds. So 41 is pretty funny in this case.

Yeah, that's fair. I suppose forty-one year olds stealing something happens on the reg, but the way the story is crafted, I can see where you'd expect them to be younger students just from experience.

My brothers in Christ, this has to be among the dumbest crimes ever attempted. Not merely for the fact you’re sure to be caught, but for the fact you took that risk for like, $1K.
