I read the Manders elevated RB Chris Rodriguez from the practice squad. I haven't seen anything about Robinson being doubtful/out yet.

Refs blew that one should been Wash DEF TD which I have many of.

Why did they blow the whistle they have been taught not to blow it on close plays.

WAS Rushing D struggling. The NYG interior OL is getting to the next level too easily. Mathis and Payne have been especially bad getting off their blockers. Fowler is chasing the empty handed RB and leaving DJ alone to run. Expect that to be fixed at halftime. It's happened before and they fixed it.

Daniel Jones just stellar that half

4/6 0yds, TD
Dude is a giant turd. Good runner. Negative pocket presence. I am a professed disliker of his entire game. But I do wonder what he could do in a scheme that was better for him. His coaches don't have a clue how to use what little quarterback sense he has. I mean if a guy can't process what is going on pre-snap, shouldn't they be rolling him out and giving him levels on the same side of the field to throw to. IMO DJ and Trevor Lawrence have the same issues. Their minds have not progressed beyond the college game.

WAS Offense is really good. Their D, however, is almost equally bad. Daniels is a stud.

The WAS D struggles with top WRs and running QBs. NYGs have one of each. It's a tough matchup which is why the games have been tight.

Reasons being we don't have a lock down CB. Today they kept Nabers in front of them which was good. But PHI and DAL have top WRs that can get open on any of the WAS CBs. For the running QBs, it leads to not knowing to play the RB or the QB. They need to get it corrected. Especially when they face PHI. Barkley, Hurts, Smith, Brown. Not sure how we stop them all. Have to outscore them. DAL at least has horrid QBs. I feel better against them. But those two teams are 4 of the remaining 7 games. Gonna have to play well to keep the train rolling.

Didn't see the game.
Did something happen to the Giants kicker again? Went for 2 when they didn't have to.

Lost the first game against Washington because they didn't have a kicker all game. Another kicker just went on IR. Another issue today?

You guys are a good team. I’m actually happy for you fans this year, after suffering for years under Danny Boy, and horrible coaches.

I still think you’re a year away, but there’s a very real possibility y’all take the NFCE this year. As soon as they beat Philly or take the NFCE or have another good off season, that’s when I’ll go back to hating them with the force of 1,000,000 suns. Until then, I am enjoying watching them play well.

Coaches decision. It is what the stats say. But it made no sense from a game flow perspective. All the air left the NYG when they didn't get it.

At what point do teams stop checking league wide analytics and start looking at their own sorry *** offense before deciding to go for two?

About 3 weeks ago @travdogg said Washington had a shot at being 7-2 and I disagreed, saying the best they could do was 5-4 at this point. I'm happy to be wrong. I'm just not used to having a good professional football team in Washington yet.

Schedule helps a ton, but this is a solid team. Are they a 7-2 caliber team? Probably not. But this is a different team, without the looming feeling of "how can we screw this up?" over them.

Daniels (and Quinn) are doing for them what Stroud/Ryans did for Houston, but arguably better, as Houston doesn't have a Philly to deal with.

What is most encouraging is the entire team IS getting better. the o-line has improved from the start of the season. The defense has definitely improved (nowhere to go but up after week 1) and while I wish we had a better #2 WR I do think Noah Brown and Dyami have been better the last few weeks. A little bummed to see the lack of targets and production from McCaffrey though. If the team can trade for a stud WR or CB I hope they do that...we are closer to being a contender than any of us imagined coming into the season that's for sure...
