What happened with Patrick Crayton? (1 Viewer)

I didn't get a chance to watch the Dallas matchup so I'm relying on those who did to answer me the following....

Is there a reason why Crayton's name does not appear anywhere for yards caught? I have him on my bench but if Romo mainly targets Owens, Witten & Hurd, I'll dump his butt on the waiver wire to get a WR that gets some action.

he had 3 targets and return yards

Sep 16 Crayton failed to catch a pass in Sunday's 37-20 win at Miami.

Recommendation: Crayton, who did have a 49-yard punt return, was targeted just three times by Tony Romo. Although Crayton did not make much of an impact on Sunday, no player other than Terrell Owens caught more than two passes and Romo threw for just 186 yards.

I got queasy just reading that.

Forget the targets..that's a tough kid.

Matt Jones would have passed out and been airlifted.

I heard he injured (?broke) his small finger but returned later in the game
Yes, it's broken.
They said the bone was sticking through the skin, and they had to close the wound with 5 stitches. Then he came back to field punts with his pinky taped to his ring finger. I don't remember if he was in on any offensive plays after breaking it.
i think it was him that drew that PI call in the endzone. not too sure.

You're right... it was.

He had a long punt return (about 50 yarder) after he re-entered the game as well.

I was watching the game. When he got up he was holding his hand out away from his body, with his pointer, index and ring fingers all together...and his pinky was going out sideways from his hand. Sort of perpendicular from his other fingers. It was gross.

Yep. He did catch a pass down to about the 5 yard line or something after he came back but it was called back due to a penalty.I'm downgrading him until I see something more out of him. I don't like my receivers with broken fingers.

yeah, it sure killed TO last year.
Crayton is no TO. Crayton isn't good enough to enter a game already handicapped with a bad hand and expect to excel. TO is a completely different story.
