What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (3 Viewers)

3 weeks til I finally get to try this.
You could have asked. Every place in SE Michigan has fresh cans of it. In 2 years or so they have taken that beer from the hot new thing people were buzzing about to being at Ford Field for Lions games, every gas station and diner. M43 is everywhere. They did all that scaling without losing any quality IMO. I get all their IPAs pretty easil when they come out and I would send you some if you wanted.

I hear ya man, Im just not into shipping and trading much these days...Ive known for a year I'd be getting some when I went up to MI for my nephew's wedding, so no biggie.

I'm not doing any shipping or trading either but would hook an fbg up. Where is the wedding at?

Cheboygan. It's a quick in and out trip. Fly in to Detroit Friday, spend the night at my Mom's place in Bay City, drive to Cheboygan Saturday for wedding and spend the night at my sister's place, then drive back down to Detroit and fly out Sunday.

Damn dude, you are going way up there.I hope you like water and boats and stuff.

Mud Lust Coffee Porter by Sly Fox, On draft

This was amazing. Nice mild coffee flavor and not too boozy like some brewers like to make.

Very easy to drink for a dark beer. Checked the brewer on my phone (who was 2 towns over) and they were all out until next season.

Waitress said she'd sell me some "to go" if I had a growler ... which I didn't. So I had the waitress empty a gallon jug of ice tea to fill and took a gallon home with me.

(I'm sure they were glad to get rid of it being "off-season" for porters).

I read the reviews on Beeradvocate and they weren't what I expected. Avg to above avg. Seems everyone wants that kick in the crotch flavor.

I actually appreciate the milder dark beers. Kona Pipeline is one of my all time favorites ... and I'd put Mud Lust a tier above that. A bit more flavor but still easy to drink several.

Was at Cigar City Friday and Saturday.  Had the Margarita Gose and Fish Are Friends Not Beer (Shark Week) pomegranate gose.  Both surprised me very much as they were better than I expected.

Tampa Guys...this White Oak Jai Alai we just got in Chicago? Made in Tampa or elsewhere?

Went to Civil Society yesterday on the way to Ft Lauderdale...their Tracks DIPA is ridiculous. Hazy as can be, dank and juicy like a mofo. @Hawks64 youre gonna dig these beers man!

Stopped into Garagiste Meadery and picked up a bottle of Reboog Vitis (peanut butter and grape jelly mead) and my member bottle of Black Waffles...I've had the Vitis before and it's insane, but Im gonna save the Waffles for a special occasion.

"Black Waffles uses a ridiculous amount of black currants, locally produced honey, a kiss of vanilla plus a pile of maple.

Jet black in color.  Aromas of maple beating you in the face.  The interplay between the maple and currants is a bit different than we saw with Blue Waffles. The acidity from the currants tempers the sweetness a bit and really envelops the palate with a maple/berry finish."

Spent Saturday night at the Sierra Nevada brewery in Asheville. The beers were ok but the grounds were spectacular ... self guided brewery tour, corn hole, cook garden to wander around, corn hole, outside amphitheater with jamming band, good food and a lot more.

The place is huge and was packed.  I can only imagine the revenue this place generates.

So good.  Love this place.

We have a purchase contract on a house in Brandon...if we get it I'll be living about 15 minutes or so away from Garagiste, 7venth Sun, Angry Chair, and Ybor.

We will find out for sure this week when the appraisal is done. CANT. WAIT.

15 minutes sounds ambitious  , but you’re close

Lol, you've never seen me drive.  :D

House is near Lakewood Dr and Woodberry Rd. Not really inside the really bad traffic area of Brandon (I mean, its all bad but at least it's not on the Valrico or Bloomingdale side). Garagiste would be 95% Selmon Expressway. The others would depend on time of day. Bottom line, I'd be MUCH closer to all the cool things.

PM me when you land in town.  I’m down the road in Riverview.

Been trying to cut down on my beer intake in order to maintain my weight loss and have basically decided I'm only drinking what I consider to be world class IPAs whenever I do drink. Unfortunately, a favorite restaurant in my town always has Maine Lunch on draft and Lawson's Sip of Sunshine is always at my favorite liquor store. There is also a very small but what I consider to be world class farm brewery less than 10 minutes from my house. Thankfully I'm really enjoying getting a vodka buzz which is helping reduce my beer cravings.

Jai Alai on sale at the Sam’s Club, along with Bimini Twist IPA.  My fridge is happy. New brewery opened up in my town, gonna have to go test it out.  If any of you are near west Orlando area, Crooked Can in downtown Winter Garden is both good beer and good atmosphere (even in FL summer heat)

Yeah, I've really gotten pretty picky myself. There are basically only 2 or 3 breweries I will drink beers from here in Michigan.

There is a Westborn in Plymouth but honestly everywhere in the Plymouth area has it now. Even my local gas station had it. Get Boss Tweed too. That’s the DIPA by  Old Nation and it’s not too hard to find now. #### you give me more details and I’ll personally meet you with a beer delivery.
Flying in tomorrow afternoon. Plymouth is right on the way to Bay City... @Ilov80s is there anywhere right off of 275 that you know of that has M43 right now?

Most likely any liquor store will likely have it but based on my experience and the Untapped App, Livonia Liquor and Fine Wine is your quickest stop. It's maybe a half mile East on Ann Arbor Road (the exit for Plymouth off of 275). If not, there are some close alternatives west from the exit. Here are links for you

Livonia Liquor and Fine Wine- it says it is closed but I don't think that is right, I was just there a week ago.

Thought you were talking about my neck of the woods. Odd they use "Mayflower" and "Pilgrim" in Plymouth ... Michigan?

We do have a "Mayflower Brewing" here in the real Plymouth.... Mayflower Brewing - Plymouth

Been there a couple of times. They have a fantastic porter that is one of my favorites.

Was at Independent Fermentations (indy) brewery in Plymouth (MA) with a buddy. Really small place but we were playing corn hole outside and the beer was fresh ... tends to make me drink more than I normally would.

Every brewery should have a corn hole area. Guaranteed to sell more product.

We have a piece of the rock and everything. It's actually a pretty old city itself (not as old as the OG obv). We used to make the most popular bb gun on the market, now we make milfs and cougars.

Too bad

Great, it will be perfect for a quick in  and out. Too bad you have a wedding, I live right there in the city. It's a fun little town with a great walkable downtown full of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and parks.
