What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

I tried a few local beers when I was in Florida last week. A thumbs up for the CIgar City Jai Alai, a very solid IPA. I can't say the same for Big Tops Circus City, pretty unremarkable and way to malty for an IPA.
Best FL IPAs Ive had are

Crank (Cycle Brewing, brewery only)

Brew Hub Inside Joke IPA (draft/growler only)

Jai Alai (CCB)

Free Dive (Coppertail)

Cat 5 (Due South)

Wynwood IPA (draft only as far as I know)

Then theres a bunch of local ones that are canned that are all MEH - JDubs Up Top, 3 Daughters Bimini Twist, Big Storm Arca, Two Henrys 7 Mile Bridge, Big Top Circus...I avoid em all.

Where were you at in FL?
I was in Key Largo and Sanibel. I brought plenty of good brews with me but grabbed a few local brews from the grocery store. Out of your good list I only found Jai Alai in the store and the bars didnt have a wide variety of craft brews. A great trip spent drinking, fishing and swimming with the family.

So happy Ballast Pt finally made it to Wisconsin a few months ago - no disappointments so far. Dipping into the 50's last night so it was perfect for a bomber of Victory at Sea in the backyard. Great vanilla/coffee porter.

More Drunk Monk -- think it's my favorite American hefe, really good and really true to style. Wish FFF made it more frequently.

Just cracked my 4th, and last, bomber of this. Feelin' good -- and gonna have to switch over to Two Hearted now.

Maine Dinner...this is seriously one of the best beers Ive ever had. I like it better than both Heady and Julius.

I love that beer

Tonight it was Hammerheart Sköl Och Hati which is a Smoked Chocolate Stout

Last night entailed watching the neighborhood fireworks displays while drinking two Peuedo Sue's, two Furious, and two Tyranena Balling the Queen

Yesterday:

Dunham Saison Rustique

Community Beer Works Spelt Saison

Perennial Regalia Brett Farmhouse

Omnipollo Onda Mosaic Pale Ale

Debating on whether or not I wanna crack open (and consume) my Firestone Walker Sour Opal tonight.

In the meantime, Im enjoying my last Tropicalia IPA from Creature Comforts.

This is probably not a good idea. Thinking of cracking open a Pipeworks Mandarina.
Update?
I ended up having a Vallejo. Glad I did. Will open one tonight. Nothing more American than citrusy hops.
Wise choice. Lol. I've been starting early in the day, and by midnight or so I'm all beered out...Ive been doing good on not cracking that last regrettable beer.
I was very tempted too....it will happen later.

Little Sumpin' Extra
I had forgotten just how freaking good this is somehow. Is there a more drinkable 8.5 % beer? My sixer is gone, and I'm suddenly unintentionally pretty drunk on a Sunday afternoon.

What did you think of the Tyranena?
Pretty good stuff, worth the price. Probably not as good as the other two beers I drank (Sue and Furious).

Into yesterday's leftovers now -- Alpha King and Two Hearted. Kids talkin about wanting a campfire -- may be forced to dig into the very back of the beer fridge where the Killian's and Shandy (other ppl' leavings) hang out. Went through waaaaaay more than I thought I would this w/e.

Either that or start opening the big guns I'm cellaring -- and three YO Belgian Quads and big BA stouts just don't feel right when it's 80+ out. Effin Indiana laws...

Just finished a Tree House Haze, and getting ready to head to work...probably my last beer til next Friday night...busy week on tap!
