I also had a Petrus 50/50 today. Loved it.
Yeah I really enjoyed it too. Too bad they charge $10-12 per bottle, otherwise I'd buy more.I really liked that Okie a lot. I thought it had great whiskey barrel character.Prairie artisan ales Okie.
I really like Avery's Lilikoi Kepolo. I think their description on the can of "Tropical and Tart" is quite accurate. It has a mild tartness and big tropical flavors of passionfruit, mango, and pineapple. I think it is a great summer beer.Anyone had this?

Was going to buy a sixer and try it.
Not worth the paper it's written on. But enjoy those beers!Celebrating a verbal agreement to purchase a house this afternoon...

A personal favorite of mine.Back to GI Sofie -- absolutely perfect for working outside then grilling. Love the tart, dry, effervescent beers in the summer.
It's a great style g#######t.Coppertail Unholy Trippel. Not a huge fan of the style, but this one is so damn good.
Well alrighty. Thanks for setting me straight. (edit: I like Belgians in general but Tripels and Quads are hit and miss for me. This one is hopped like a mofo so its a nice twist)It's a great style g#######t.Coppertail Unholy Trippel. Not a huge fan of the style, but this one is so damn good.

Sorry about that. I feel smothered by IPAs sometimes. I like smooth, malty and lightly sweet better than bitter and more bitter. But I'm left with only a six pack of grapefruit sculpin. It's a good time to be alive.Well alrighty. Thanks for setting me straight. (edit: I like Belgians in general but Tripels and Quads are hit and miss for me. I love my stouts and porters but not a big fan of this beer

Do you know how old they were? My understanding is that Sculpin falls off pretty quick.I tried Sculpin and Gratefruit Sculpin for the first time as I found a store that carried them here in RI. I guess I was a bit underwhelmed which is probably mostly due to the hype surrounding them. I liked the Gratefruit Sculpin a bit more and think both are really solid but again, expectations probably hurt my evaluation. There are definitely other IPAs I like better then Sculpin. Only had one each though so perhaps my mind will change as I make it through each six pack.
