Big who for you w/ FVM from what I've heard.Beat the #### out of anything else I had. Just awesome.
Ended up with French Vanilla Militia.
Win.
Oh, the Pipeworks and Floyds collaboration Zombie vs Unicorn was great. Wish they had Stay Lit, their hazebro collaboration with Forbidden Root but they didn't. As far as I know anyway.
I got a couple 6 packs Wednesday and sounded like they got more in Friday. Don't think it's a hot item but not sure it'll sit around too long eitherI have not. Do they have 6ers in stores? Might need to get me some.
OK...its 8pm and im completely slammerred. Will report the nest day recovery at somr point inyhr futureSitting in a bar in Lititz PA. Drinking Firestone Walker PIVO. I ain't from around here and came for one. I am on beer #6. It's tasty and redrinkable.
Not complaining at all. Brother got a muerte. The other two got Handjee and another FVM. Not bad all around.Big who for you w/ FVM from what I've heard.
Tried Check 1,2 today. Fantastic beer. Finally stopped by Mikerphone. 2 minutes wait to get Mikerphone check 1, 2 and I want IPA. Didn't have time for tasting room and that line was 15 deep. I wanna get back there sometime. Great beer!

It was a little late for that but good idea for the future!Go to Appalachian or joboys
I tend to switch what I'm drinking after one beer. Mix it up. Maybe get 2 a row of something. Haven't bought a six pack and then drink in straight through in maybe 10 years until I put down a Pivo six pack a couple weeks ago. I love a good pilsner and pivo kicks ###. It took a couple hundred years, but America can finally make good pilsners.Firestone Walker PIVO - the next morning.
Pleasantly surprised I don't feel bad at all. I will order this beer often if i see it on tap.
Just cracked one open. It absolutely is a NE IPA (I have had several Michigan beers tat advertised as NE and were just dank, but no haze). This look, smells and feels right. It's just lacking in punch. It's very mild and needs either more sweetness like M43 or more hop punch like Boxer.I got a couple 6 packs Wednesday and sounded like they got more in Friday. Don't think it's a hot item but not sure it'll sit around too long either
Yeah all they do is sours so it seems they've perfected the art. Probably gonna hit one of their brewpubs up Wednesday nightDidn't crack the Biere de Mars yesterday, just dove in a few minutes ago. Damn. Well done Jolly Pumpkin. Somehow I hadn't tried this one before -- back to Whole Foods tomorrow to load up. Just outstanding -- tart without being a lacto-bomb, funky, dry, and complex AF. Blind tasting this, I'd bet an awful lot of $ that it was from a several hundred year old Belgian brewery. Really effing good.
I've come to expect excellence from them, somehow I missed this one despite it being pretty easily available. Wish I had tried it years ago, it just really hits the mark for my palate (I can't handle tons of lactic acid in a sour). Damn near perfect for me -- and I'm coming recently off of some big guns from Hill Farmstead, so for this to make me sit up the way it did is really impressive.Yeah all they do is sours so it seems they've perfected the art. LOVE that beer. Hasn't made it's way down here quite yet.Shorts Freedom of '78.
I found it at Meijer, its been out for a bit. Strack &Van Till off of 49 may have it also.LOVE that beer. Hasn't made it's way down here quite yet.
It should have. It's been around over a month now.LOVE that beer. Hasn't made it's way down here quite yet.
Maybe I've just missed it (entirely possible, I've been hitting up breweries directly more than trolling the bottle shops lately) -- I'll look again this week.It should have. It's been around over a month now.
I'm the opposite when it comes to NEIPA's. It's the only style of beer I want to drink. And it's super easy here in NYC to make it happen.Got some Trillium from a buddy. Obviously fantastic beer for the NE IPA style. I'm just not sure I love that style as much as other people do.

I am seeing more and more of this, and I don't get it. People walk in to where I work and say "do you have anything hazy" and if I don't and say as much, they just walk out. So weird.Gadabout said:I'm the opposite when it comes to NEIPA's. It's the only style of beer I want to drink. And it's super easy here in NYC to make it happen.
I'm the buyer for a beer bar here in NYC. I usually dedicated 6/30 taps to IPA's, and if at least four of those aren't NEIPA's, my customers will get pissed.I am seeing more and more of this, and I don't get it. I don't get that either. I personally love well done NE IPAs -- but also West Coast IPAs, and saisons, and pilsners, and APAs, and a slew of other crystal clear styles. Judging a beer solely based on "is it hazy?" is silly. The haziness is actually the least important factor IMO.I am seeing more and more of this, and I don't get it. This is a work trip? Damn....Doing a Tampa brewery "tour" with the wife tomorrow...Angry Chair Brewing, then Cigar City, the Cycle, then Arkane, then Rapp, and then Tampa Brewing Company for dinner, then Coppertail. Followed up with a cornhole with @Wingnut on Saturday at Civil Society. Going to be a great start to my work trip!!
Any Nightmare on Brett? I don't do sours normally but that one caught my attention.Made a run over lunch: Unfiltered Sculpin, 18th Street Skreech, and Cooked Stave Petite Rose, Colorado Wild Sage, and Surette. So effing happy that Crooked Stave finally landed in Indiana.
Yeah! Going to Synergy, wife is coming with and taking a few days before and after the conference. Will be awesome! This is a work trip? Damn....

What a great time - can't remember all the names of the beer though lol! We skipped Rapp and Coppertail due to time, but may be going back on Sunday for Cigar City Cider & Meadery and maybe hit up Six Ten and Hidden Springs for the sours. Heading out around 2-3p to go to Sailfish and then Civil Society. CS made a NE IPA that I thought was outrageously good. Not sure if they ever bottled it or if it was just on tap at the brewery, but if you see that- jump on it.Closed two big deals at work today, Pens kicking ###, drinking the first round of Crooked Stave to hit Indiana. Life is good.
