What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (6 Viewers)

I cut it down to Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, but relapsed tonight... Espresso Oak Aged Yeti.
I'm not trying to push anyone into relapse. I work out and keep clean most days. You will get full support from me if you are trying to cut back.

Outside of all that, I have an EOA Yeti in the cellar. How good is that?

I just found it getting way too easy to have a beer every evening. It may not sound like a bunch but if said beer is a 22 oz at 10 to 14%...It starts to hit the wallet too lol. You didn't put me over the edge 80s. I was craving 1 so will just skip tonight and be on track.

EOA Yeti used to be my favorite beer. Now that my palate has turned more towards Bourbon BA and I've got to try some higher-ups it has slid down the list quite a bit. It's super hoppy for a stout and I get a lot of espresso and barrel. I still enjoy the beer though. Let me know your thoughts when you try it.

Yeah they are not cheap- that's for sure. Do you have a few favorite BA beers?

If we are talking about Bourbon Aged 80s, I'd like to say I do, but to be honest, the way my palate continuously seems to change I'm not sure I could pick them out with a blind taste test.

I'd say BA Sexual Chocolate, Whiskey Aged Yeti, Pirate BOMB, BCBS, are some that rank pretty high up there for me off the top of my head.

I've tried CBS and have to say I was a bit let down. I've yet to get hold of any Goliath stuff yet, but have tried quite a handful of other must tries, but again, not sure I could pick them from each other, other than maybe the Whiskey Yeti. Yeti has a particular taste to me for some reason.

The CBS that was released this year is not as good as the original version imo.

Got to hit up a few local breweries in Traverse City this week (The Workshop and The Filling Station).  Some good beers there

looks like I’ll be going up fairly frequently for work :banned:

Cool little beer town. I like the Little Fleet thing they do in summer

Civil Society Fresher Than Fresh.

Had to come to Boca Raton for a wedding so I stopped in to grab some cans to go. First time I've been to Civil since Nov, I really miss that place.

First trip to HOMES Brewing in Ann Arbor- their can release sold out in 2 hours with limits to just 1 four pack of each beer. The Tiki Sherbet fruit forward lactose sour is delicious.

I stopped buying beer for home about 6 months ago but couldn't pass up grabbing a 6 of Nugget Nectar when I saw it on the shelf.

Planning on downing a few:

  • Homebrew on tap. It's an american amber ale that had orange peel in the primary fermentation
  • Homebrew that I bottled about 4 weeks ago that's a Scottish Ale
  • 3 Floyd's Gumball Head

7venth Sun's Do You Even Sudachi Bro? Berliner with Sudachi fruit. This is one of my favorite Tampa Bay sours. Sudachi is so unique and is perfect for fruiting up sours.

I tried the Little Peeps last time I went.  Gonna try this one next time.

Little Peeps is Angry Chair, no? Maybe I have it confused. AC might have had Purple Peeps...not sure.

Sudcahi is only on once in a while at 7venth Sun...they just canned a bunch, the cooler was full when I went the other day.  Lots of cans in the cooler right now...Headbanger, Mangrove, Graffiti Ornage...maybe a couple of others

It’s 7venth Sun.  I was there a couple of weeks ago.  Little Peep.  Here is a pic of the board.

Check out Bold Missy. An awesome brewer from out here in San Diego is their head brewer now.

Double Cannon DIPA (Heavy Seas)

The Mango Beer IPA (Novo Brazil)

Hop Bullet DIPA (Sierra Nevada)

Carl NEIPA (Red Cypress)

Fresher than Fresh IPA (Civil Society)

Do You Even Sudachi Bro? FL Weiss (7venth Sun)

Damn good night.

Asked my son to grab me a beer from the basement beer fridge. What kind? “Surprise me.”

Boy grabbed a can of tenfiddy from the way back that’s been in there about a year. That’s my boy. #oldschoolthumbsup

I’m thinking I might get a snow day tomorrow so we’ve got Austin Brothers Merk Twain- NE style that’s damn near chewy. Super good- v similar to m43. Also Black Rocks Murray Project DIPA- sweet and citrusy.
