What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (8 Viewers)

Last night was the mother of all nights for me, Canadian Breakfast Stout, Consecration, Pliny the Elder, Supplication, Yeti, Kentucky Breakfast Stout, and La Fin du Monde as a nightcap.
i must not have got the fax <_<

Padres Dodgers tonight, 1st of an important 4 game series in LA so I treated myself to a 4 pack of Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA. My first Dogfish Head IPA, and it lives up to the hype. 9.0% and I'm twisted after 2.

 GFH is really overrated. I said it. Tommy, just found out South Beach has all a late night happy hr. All drafts $2.50. The other day I actually did a 90min then a West Coast. No comparison.

Completely agree. IMO the best east coast IPA is Flower Power.

North Coast Brewing Brother Thelonious...belgian dubbel abbey, good but Ive had better.

Weyebacher Merry Monks....described as a belgian styled golden ale. Definitely has the flavor of a belgian but something different going on as well. Very good, and like it more than the Thelonious.

I had one of those in my hands the other day. Should have tried it.

Boston Logan Airport sittin at the Cisco Brew Pub drinking a Indie Pale Ale.

Lots and lots of grapefruit, waaaaay bitter. But pretty good for a 7.5% ABV hoppy IPA

A GB and I bottled our first batch of Dunkelweizen last night. It should be ready for our draft in a week and a half :blackdot:

We also have our Oktoberfest fermenting. Should be ready to put in the secondary fermenter early next week and ready to drink by about October 1st ;) :banned:

I just bottled earlier this week with a neighbor - we did a Two-Hearted ale clone with a belgian yeast that he is calling "2Hearted Dubbel"http://hopville.com/recipe/271019/belgian-...2hearted-dubbel

ommegang ommegeddon... oMG. probably my favorite beer ever. haven't seen it around for awhile, saw it pop up in the local brew shop again... a must try!

OK First off, there is no way I am looking through 29 thousand posts to see if this has been mentioned, but I have fallen in love with a beer bottled by the New Belgium Brewing Co. ABBEY Belgian Style Ale.

NG Bourbon Barrel Bock

my last one...openly accepting all shipments of it from donors everywhere....probably my 2nd favorite NG beer that I've tried...

Beer: All pints east, Asia overtakes Europe, in beer terms (Aug 17th 2010)

CHINA'S remarkable growth is as apparent in beer consumption as it is in more formal economic indicators. In the space of a couple of decades the country has gone from barely touching a drop to become the world's biggest beer market, a considerable distance ahead of America.
I know they have us outnumbered, boys, so we're really going to have to step up our game to regain our rightful place at the top of this mantle! The next time you drink beer I want you to take the number of bottles, pints, whatever you usually drink and multiply that figure by two. Then I want you to take that new figure and multiply it by two again. Good luck. America is counting on you.
