No Black Tuesday that I know of. Just not one of those "must haves" for me, although I certainly wouldn't mind if someone sent me some.For the Vanilla BCS, I have the word out to "my guy" in Chicago to pick me up whatever he can find. I'm still holding out hope that one of my local places will have it....they were stocked with the Coffee BCS, which was a fairly rare find, so I'm hoping for the Vanilla BCS. If not, hopefully he'll manage a few bottles for me.....or at least 1...

2010 Smoked Porter? I have an 05 and an 07 in storage.....Stone 10-10-10 no good? Hasn't made it here yet....09-09-09 was ok...probably pick up a bottle of 10-10-10 just to say I tried it.

No, he just gives me #### because I don't care for it, there are much better stouts out there that fit my tastes but it was $2.99 for 22oz so in deference to Methuselah I picked one up for last night. It did nothing to change my opinion. Today/tonight, whole bunch of Bud Light, GB golf tourneys!

Trappistes Rochefort #8 - Interesting but didn't grab my attention
Sierra Nevada Kellerweis Hefeweizen - Very drinkable but not overly complex...even for a wheat beer
I'm on Pintley.com as mjtiernan ... check it out because I'd like to get input from more people. You can rate beers, get personalized recommendations based on your ratings, create your own taste notes and compare with others. I'm going to make an effort to write better reviews of the interesting beers I drink. If you follow me, I'll follow back.

Night Stalker is an extremely hoppy stout and was released awhile ago. I haven't had one lately, but I'd imagine that some of the hops are faded by now. Although it's the same style, on paper, as the Stone RIS, it's really not the same style.And Purple Haze

This thread always pisses me off because I don't drink beer but always see this thread when I'm drinking, and its always Vodka + whatever is handy. Tonight its Diet Squirt.

At the risk of sounding like a complete drunk, I am drinking Absolut and Gatorade. It really helps me to feel so much better. Tomorrow morning I will throw down some Pedialyte and I will get through work and my workout.

Don't just publicly embarrass me, enlighten me. What are your recommendations? I am not an Absolut _hore. I would love to be an absolute _hore but that is probably why I drink.

I kinda think people go too far with their snobbishness on alcohol and such (I also have a bad sense of taste and smell), but he is right here. Absolut is the most overrated, overpriced vodka there is.I've actually done vodka taste-tests with friends at parties - I like vodka - and it was surprising how often Absolut was picked as the worst. And never the best.Along with Corona however, which I do like, one of the best marketing campaigns ever. Hats off to them for that.

At $20 a 1.75L bottle I rotate between: Boru (Forbes Top 5 few years ago), Finlandia, Svedka, Sobieski. I believe these are all superior. On a side note: I believe Grey Goose is a mediocre vodka with a preminum brand image and is not worth the money.
