bells double cream stout

two hearted ale

Devil Dancer is ridiculous if it's fresh. Two-Hearted is pretty good. Brooklyn Black Chocolate is ok, kinda overpriced IMO. Expedition stout is superb. Batch 9000 was an absolute mess when it was released - not a bad thing, just like a swirl of flavors that didn't mesh together at the time - way too "hot".Expo Stout and Devil Dancer are my favorites of the bunch. I had a 4-pack of Batch 9000 sent to me after the release - I drank 1 and have held onto the other 3....let me know how it's holding up right now whenever you drink it. I have a few 09 Expo stouts that I've been holding onto as well.

I think the Devil Dancer is 2-3 weeks off the shelf. I'll make sure to drink it right away.

I'll probably let the 9,000 age a bit.

Right now: Avery Dugana IPA

Pretty good. Good amount of hops. Doesn't lack in the malt department. I normally don;t like malty IPAs. This one seems to be just on the right side of the fence of where the malts are good for me.

Horseheads IPA
 Nosferatu (again)
That was yesterday. Tore through a 4 pack in just about record time.
You had this year's Blackout Stout yet? Great batch, IMO.Two superb beers, and so cost-effective too....tickers can keep their $15 stouts, I'll take two 4-packs of Blackout for the same price...
Haven't seen the Blackout Stout around here yet. You were drinking Nosferatu for about a 2-3 weeks before my local beer store got it so we are a bit behind I think.

I picked it up last Friday, I think....so like 10 days ago? Should be there soon.Very good....love having Nosferatu and Blackout back-to-back....I don't really care for the Christmas Ale though.

Tonight's a Moonshine kinda night.
What does this taste like and does it come in the mason jar?
I got the "Good" stuff. Yep, it comes in a jar. Looks just like on the site. It's got the kick you'd expect from a 100 proof whiskey. Nice clean taste with a bit of a corn mash hit. Backend has some sweet notes to it. Maybe a bit of cinnamon/woodsy flavors. It's actually pretty good. If you're the type to drink your beverages neat, you might like this stuff. Can get it at any liquor store around here now. Not sure about outside the state.

A few days late, but here is a shot of my glass last Tuesday

Incredible beer, incredible other beers, and an incredible night. Can't wait for next year.

Ended up having:

Black Tuesday

Chocolate Rain Cask

Cherry Chocolate Rain Cask

Barrel Aged Autumn Maple

7 Grain Saison

Premiere

Lokal Red

Gunga Gulunga

The 3 headliners are easily in my favorites of all time now. BT was super smooth. Perfect texture. Not too thick, not too thin. No burn, but good amount of bourbon. Bourbon came through like a bourbon candy to me.

Also got the pictured chocolate and cheese to cleanse the pallet between tasters and enhance the pallet during the tasters.

and a kick ### lamb taco from a food truck in the parking lot.

Event was super efficient. Crowd was awesome. Staff was great. Tremendous time. :lmao:

Founder's Harvest Ale.

Just got my East Coast box today. Pretty good. It was hyped too much for me. I was expecting much more hops. But I guess that is the knock on us West Coasters....
