What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

Other interesting fact is that Dark Lord needs about 18 more reviews to push it ahead of Stone RIS (if Stone didn't get any more reviews and the rating for Dark Lord remained the same)
i've got a 2006 in the basement. scared to drink it. otherwise it'd be 17 more reviews.
I'll give you my firstborn for it.
Id be willing to part with a Moto Brew if furley wants to switch.
Heck, I've never even had the damn beer, but I'll give a 6-pack sampler of Goose Island. That's a 6-pack (or 4-pack) of every GI beer I can find, which I think is 8-10 beers or, so that's probably 40-50 beers right?Must be worth having right?

OK, the list for the ***OFFICIAL*** FFA Beer Snob Craft Brew Draft:

Winston Smith

Nuclear George

The Gator
ETA on draft time?
I would envision getting started maybe noonish tomorrow, maybe Friday morning. But that's obviously up to everyone, as would be format, number of rounds, time for making picks, etc.
OK, IN.
IN, although I'm taking Friday off and may be away from the 'puter for several hours at a stretch.

You failed Reading Comprehension didn't you?

Co-worker is in San Diego, and I might be able to get him to bring back 2 or 3 bottles of beer. Any suggestions as to which 3 to ask for?

I think that stuff is harder to get than Westy 12. At least Westy 12 can be ordered from time to time....You bastage.

And yes, Id like a pic. And not just a pic, but a pic of it on MY computer desk.

:lmao:

hate to rub it in but... i didn't even ask for it.... guy brought it up.

i've traded (bought) from this guy before. for whatever reason he has access to WI beers that i can't get (and does a LOT of trading, so he has a nice collection). but he lives close enough for us to meet up and make the transactions.

couple weeks ago i asked if he had anything interesting.. he said, yeah, i have ######## and a Dark Lord 2006 if you want it.

he went to the Dark Lord release party and picked up a handful.

dude is a good guy.. he told me he'd grab me one at the party if i wanted.. i declined at the time cause i was doing a lot of buying for the BiF.. when it came up again i opted to take it.

whoa

what'd you send him? couple hookers and a bottle of chardonnay?
Hmmm...what did I send?Growler Masala Mama

750ml Left Hand Double Sawtooth (Chainsaw)

2 Expeditions

2 Alpha Kings

2 Hop Heartys

2 Summit IPAs

2 Bitter Womans

Judging by the views on my flickr page, I don't think that many people figured out that the pickle was a link.
A-ha!He sent me some of those...Ive had the Sleighor, Hopsickle, Hop Henge, White Knuckle...theyre ALL really good.

Havent cracked the Moyland IIPA yet

You have to remember that we are simple folk around here. Our primitive caveman minds can't handle your modern ways.

Some Pizza Port?
These guys drive me nuts. They are so friggin inconsistent for when they say and do bottle. I've been patiently waiting for months for the old Stone facilities to kick into overdrive.

I just hotlinked to their Double IPA. Haven't tried them yet but have heard they are a great brewery. I didn't even know they had bottles until recently.

Rescued from page 2. :crisisaverted:
This is a recent thing. Normally it used to fall off during the day and would get all it's posts at night. We have become much more hardcore alcoholics I guess. :banned:

Wilked needs to remove "tonight" from the title. Better yet - just edit it to "ALL BEER, ALL THE TIME"
Agreed. If I am home, there is a good chance that I am having a beer.
I like it the way it is. It was a simple post about what beer someone was drinking, and it has blossomed into the 10th longest thread in the FFA. I say don't mess with it.

I can get the Pliney in growlers. Right now they only have the Elder though.
:pickle: I just checked the tentative beer list for the Oregon Brewers Festival in July. Looks like I am going to get my first crack at some Pliny the Elder. If any of the West Coast people want to chime in on that list as far as must have beers, I would appreciate it.

Man, a lot of distrust around here.
