Love that beer. So tasty and easy. How was the Hell?Surly Bender
Northern Brewer worked with Surly to put together several clone kits: http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/recipe-kits/pro-series/surly-brewing-coI'm going to take a shot at the Bender partial mash recipe sometime in the next few weeks if time allows.Surly Bender
Surly Furious
You inspired me, Task.
The first beer I brewed was inspired by the Furious kit. I emailed NB and they gave me the hop list. Let me know if you want it. Biggest surprise in that recipe is a touch of roasted malt.Northern Brewer worked with Surly to put together several clone kits: http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/recipe-kits/pro-series/surly-brewing-coI'm going to take a shot at the Bender partial mash recipe sometime in the next few weeks if time allows.Surly Bender

I was checking out the Furious kit at our retail store in Milwaukee yesterday - the dry hop blend is 8.5 ounces, they don't list what hops are included.

Hell was good. Great grilling beer. Not quite as good as Daisy Cutter in that category, though.'Sebowski said:Love that beer. So tasty and easy. How was the Hell?'Steve Tasker said:Surly Bender
Both great beers. I'm drinking my last Devil Dancer.Just got back from the Eastern Sierras where I enjoyed a growler of Mammoth Brewing's Epic IPA over the weekend. Now debating whether I should pop Deschutes Black Butte XXIII, Port Brewing Mongo IPA, or just give it a rest.
My neighbor was in Munster yesterday, so I'm drinking Zombie Dust tonight.
Last of Nosferatu? ####, that usually stays on the shelf here until like mid-November (and I love it)'ditka311 said:Got the last 2 4-packs of Nosferatu and the last 4-pack of Breakfast Stout at the local store today.

I have the same thought about their Fat Dog. It's a great stout, but I can't justify $15 for a 6-pack when I can get a 6-pack of Storm King (which IMO is a better beer and maybe my all-time favorite stout) for $11-12 or Ed Fitz (slightly different style, I guess, but gets it done) for $10.soon to be opening a stoudt's double ipa. LOVE THE STUFF! It's kind of ruined me from other beers. And at a whopping 10%abv, it packs a punch. Love the taste. Alcohol doesn't overwhelm. 15 bucks a 6-pack though.
