where in the northwoods?Kosmyk Charlie, Bourbon Barrel Stout and their new Scotch Ale just hit in NE WI on thursday. should be some around.. excepting for Exodus. Coffee Stout should be about everywhere as i think it's a year round now.

Haven't seen the Brewhouse, but the Bourbon Barrel Stout was released. The Kosmyc Barleywine was released as well as Exodus (you would be lucky to find this, everything from what I heard has sold out immediately). The Bourbon Barrel Stout might be around still, my store I hit had 4 cases I purchased one 4 pack and 2 4 packs of Kosmyc Charlie. Not sure what part of Wisconsin you owuld be driving through (94 or 90). But if you take 94 you should not have a problem finding the Stout in the Milwaukee area. LEt me know and I can direct you to my store a little off 94 but they should have some left.

Furley any luck on getting Exodus? I was not aware the Brewhouse was available year round. By the way are you heading to the Anniversary Party?
Inlaws live outside of Minocqua so it would be in that area, specifically the Trigs in town or in Rhinelander. Last year I got the bourbon barrel and brewhouse. Cherry bourbon was sold out but the guy at the store said allocation was really low last year which is in line w what I read. I would prefer the brewhouse so I hope it's out. Have either of you tried Hinterland?
What I like is that I can get get 6 packs of NG or Tyranena for 7.50 or 7.99. Tyranena is available here but for about 11 a sixer. Will look for the Kosmyk Charlie too.

If you are driving north on hwy 51 to Minoqua, the Central Waters Brewery is not far out of your way (just outside Amherst, east of Stevens Point). You should just take a quick detour, fill some growlers and get the best selection of their winter releases.

Had Sierra Nevada Estate Ale last night. If you like hops, this is the beer for you. Has an interesting finish, not the traditional harsh hop taste, finishes very smooth, interesting beer.
Aside, I have always been a fan of Sierra Nevada products but recently they are all beginning to taste the same to me just varying degrees of pine tasting hops. Anybody else notice this?

no luck personally but a fried of mine happened upon a store in Appleton right as the bottles were being delivered. he got one for himself and one for me
don't take my word on the Coffee Stout.. i think it's year round. if not it has been sitting on the shelves here for a long time. always a possibility.i am going to the Anniv party. not missing it this year.

yesthe bottles of Luna Stout i've had were an atrocity. on tap it's fantastic but the bottles were like a dirty old ashtray.people seem to enjoy the IPA and i think the Winter one (name escapes me).
