This is as good a thread as any to ask:
Are there any good websites or techniques for locating specific craft beers in my area? I've recently been discovering beers beyond Miller Lite and Yuengling (I know, I know). I've found particular types of beer that I like, particularly kolsch and hefeweizen. What I've done now is to go to the Beer Advocate website and found the top rated beers of those types.
Now, what is the best way to go about locating them? Is there a good website for locating beers? Is the best way to just pick up the phone and call the distributors? I know that their inventories probably change, so keeping track via a website might be near impossible to get a current list. Are distributors willing to/capable of special ordering cases or beer?
