What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (4 Viewers)

Had an old Mars. Smelled great but not as good as months ago. Found one more Mars and another Oracle behind some bombers so need to rotate them in.

About to crack a Pipeworks Nelson.

Seventh Sun's "Hand at the end of My Arm" - sour IPA w/cactus pear and dragon fruit. Pretty delicious!

7venth Sun's Time Bomb session IPA (w/Citra & Nelson)...God I love this beer, I wish I could make it over there more often.

Victory Winter Cheers. I'm typically not a fan of the hoppy, winter beers. Even in the winter, I prefer a hefeweizen or a kolsch. This, however, is pretty good.

That sounds awesome.
Its great. Regular Time Bomb (non dry hoppped) is currently the 15th best session IPA in the world on RateBeer.com, and this version is better...it doesn't have a lot of ratings because its rotating and not always available...the only knock is its only 4.5% ABV, my growler is empty before I even have a buzz...but dammit its tasty.

I just heard from some Virginia folk that they finally got Grapefruit Sculpin (and Habanero), so be on the look out in your areas as well. Could be seeing it soon.

Anyone here had Fort Collins Brewery's Out of the Ashes (smoked IPA)?

Smells like citrus but punches you in the mouth with a smokey taste.

I liked it but one was enough.

So a little buzzed Hippliing....Had some Firestone Double Jack last night. First time I've had it and it is fantastic.
Keep your eye out for another of our locals, Figueroa Mountain. Even better than Firestone IMO.
Figueroa is from Santa Ynez Valley and is making outstanding beers. They opened a few tasting rooms locally. Lizard is their DIPA and it is fantastic. Finished a growler with a buddy before church last night

Merry Christmas

Also on tap today....Stone drink by 12/26 and Knee Deep Hopparilla triple IPA?

Buddy sent me some local CO beers, pretty impressed by Oskar Blues nighttime and Dales Pale Ale.

Hmmmm...we get BP here in FL, I hope those are in the future plans as well.
Got a Sculpin in the refrigerator getting ready for tonight. Maybe this afternoon now that I think about it.

Also have a bottle of this chilling and a Stone Cali-Belgique. Mmmmmm.

Fall River Hexagenia IPA...what a great friggin beer. Dank hop profile, and smooth as hell. Any N Cali guys here ever have it?

Got this bomber along with these in a beer secret Santa thing over at TBS:

Fall River Rip Lipa TIPA

Fall River Widowmaker DIPA

Knee Deep Simtra IPA

Six Rivers Sasquatch DIPA

Almanac Golden Gate Gose

The Gose was pretty good too.
cool that they are all fishing related it sounds like what cought my eye is the hexaganea that is a huge mayfly that comes out at night in the hottest days of early summer they get so crazy on the mississiippi in wisconsin they show up on radar and they use plows to scrape them off of the roads i bet that makes you want to have a beer eh or maybe not ha ha take that to the bank bromigos

Had a few today:

Pig Minds Prunus The Bitter - Peach IPA - Very good

Dark Horse 4 Elf Winter Warmer - Very good, lots of Ginerbread and nutmeg

Firestone Walker XVIII - Excellent. Really loved this but one glass was enough.

Pig Minds Joe Daddy Barrel Aged Imperial Coffee Stout - another very good BA beer....but one glass is enough.

PW Citra Saison may be up next, not sure yet.

BA beer is good, but it's one glass and done for me. Can't drink it like I can an IPA or DIPA.

Had a Gumballhead and a Dust but since today is my birthday, hitting the Napa cabernet from The Terraces.

Up to Wisconsin this weekend. Plan on bringing back some Black Top and Alesmith.

Fall River Widowmaker DIPA, 10.2% ABV.

Another really good beer from Fall River.

I recommend trying any of their hoppy stuff.

In Wisconsin I highly recommend you pick up some Black Husky (Pale Ale, 12 Dogs, Sproose Joose, Sparkly Eyes, Big Buck Brown). A very good brewery but can be found in select locations. Not sure where in Wisconsin you are headed, if your trip takes your through Kenosha Tenuta's carries Black Husky.

I'm going to be imbibing in some Southern Tier Choklat and then later on a Mokah.

Never had them but they are right up my alley as I am a big Stout (and Porter) fan.

Anyone here tasted these?

Working on my last 12 pack of Beer Camp.

Also picked up SN new 4 way IPA case at Costco.

Includes Torpedo, black IPA, Ruthless and a new Golden IPA.

So happy SN continues the sample packs. Nice to get a verity and still buy in bulk.

BBC stout, assuming this was the KY bourbon stout, on tap at bar. Very good. Some Breckenridge IPA, great. Stone stoliychesgyj something, golden stout, awesome.

Hop drop, great as usual. Bells breakfast stout

Going to Lake Tomahawk area. I won't be passing through Kenosha this time but I appreciate the head's up. I will be going through Madison but likely won't be stopping there.

I do plan on hitting up Tribute Brewing in Eagle River. Hope they have some Mele Kalikimaka coconut porter left. Probably also go back to Minocqua Brewing which is the definition of "meh" but my wife likes to go there so who am I to argue?

At Angry Chair, yet another good new brewery in Tampa...pretty legit. So far I've tried:

Roundabout IPA

Gose

Ascension IPA

German Chocolate Cupcakes Stout (Awesome)

3 Little Birds Florida-weiss

Red Ale

Just what I need....another brewery in my Tampa Bay rotation. This area is quickly becoming a force in the craft beer game.

Notable breweries within a 30 minute driving radius:

Cigar City

Rapp

7venth Sun

Cycle

Three Palms

Coppertail

Angry Chair

Pair-O-Dice

Six Ten

3 Daughters

Green Bench

Tampa Bay Brewing Co

Dunedin Brewery

St Somewhere

And at least 3 or 4 new ones slated to open soon....its good to live here!!!

Nice list. I feel the same about my Nor Cal location. Lucky to be living in this great area.
