What's the male equivalent of a woman's sun dress? (2 Viewers)

My girlfriend can essentially just throw a sundress on and always look great. What clothing is the male equivalent of this phenomenon for easy utility?

I'd love to have a few pieces lying around that I can just throw on and be ready for anything, while still looking good. Is there anything other than khakis/Jeans and a OCBD?

Jeans, collared shirt (can be polo to button down) and a sport coat.

Takes everything from nice casual through causal business / sporty formal.

This.  Only problem is I live in FL, so between April and October, this outfit is stifling.  It's tough to be stylish without sleeves or long pants, so you kind of have to choose comfort or appearance.

We'll be the judge of that. Pics.

Ballcap to the side with a sticker still on it.

Big billowy white t. shirt.

Jean shorts that break just above the shins.

Pack of smokes rolled up in the arm of the shirt.

This is pretty much casual acceptable in 3/4 of the country.

Texas summers ain't exactly cool ... that said can go short sleeve on those days, and I find the sport coat handy when you go from 95 outside to AC blasting and 68 inside. I'll often just toss my sport coat over my shoulder as I walk if it's too hot.

:lmao: :lmao:   "Because one is enough, when it's you.  Show where you're heading in the ultimate fashion climax.  Fits so tight it shows all you've got...you're a walking turn-on.  And treats your body as well as she does.  Easy on, easy off, quick as a flick of her ......"

Seriously, I can't type this....

The basic outfit can be adjusted for warmer weather.  Substitute summer weight jeans or linen pants, and a linen sport coat and a breathable polo and you're pretty close.

I run hot.  I sit around in my underwear in 68 degrees, so long sleeves/pants and a coat are tough for me in summer.  I thought for a while that it was because I was carrying a few extra lbs, but not really - I'm 6' 2" 176 (*ding*) these days and still sweat my ### off all the time.  I should be living in Maine.

I have all that stuff, but I usually opt for the Hawaiian shirt and shorts in summer because I like to be comfortable and frankly don't give a rat's ### what I look like most of the time.

would love the answer to this.  we have casual summers. women at work can get away with just tossing on a sun dress and some sandals.  i'm there in jeans and a t-shirt with sneaks.  not exactly the best jeans weather in august.

Good thing. ;)
I know.  But when I say Hawaiian shirt, I'm really talking about the style rather than the pattern.  I'm not sure what the proper term for them is, I'm not talking about the garish colored ones, the ones I have are mainly flat colors like in this picture : https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-2760079/mens-batik-bay-classic-fit-tropical-button-down-shirt.jsp?ci_mcc=ci&utm_campaign=MENS WOVENS&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=bing&CID=shopping20&utm_campaignid=73065142&gclid=COmtprqQz9QCFSeugQodRyMIlA&gclsrc=ds&dclid=CJStu7qQz9QCFc8ehwodGzQB3Q

I guess they're called "tropical button down" shirts?  I don't get the ones with the palm trees and #### on them.  I have one in black, gray, burgundy, light blue, dark blue, etc.

seersucker
This is what I came into post.

The tropical button down mentioned about coupled with a pair of seersucker shorts and pants is a classic look.

Really any lightweight button down and either sandstone khakis in a classic style with an appropriate pair of shoes is fine.
