Who Are You Pushing the Panic Button On? (1 Viewer)

All this about Ridley? Stop it.

BB benched Vereen in the preseason when he fumbled and he was back. Now before we jump and say its preseason, we all know BB benches people when they fumble if their name is not Brady.

If it was Amendola or Vereen they would have been benched too. I love seeing you all drive his value down so I can acquire him in a few leagues.

Lets try to sum this up

Guys to worry about

Ridley - fumbling and good players behind him

Pettigrew - same as Ridley, that rookie tight in Detroit looked decent today.

Ponder - We already knew that

Steelers - this was horrible

Miller/Thomas - That line is HORRIBLE

Bradshaw - I admit I didn't see the game but the stats favor Ballard

Titans not named Chris Johnson - Locker is horrible and will bring everyone but Johnson down with him

Buy Low

Bowe - The Jags put up no fight at all, he will still put up wr2 numbers

MJD/Shorts - Gabbert is very close to being out of the league, those guys will put up numbers when Henne starts and Blackmon comes back

Wallace - They can't run, he is going to get some catches

Sudfeld - He is still going to get a lot of looks, and we still don't know when Gronk comes back

Hilton - He will be fine, I hope owners in my league panic and sell him
So Wallace goes for 1 catch for 15 yards, yet we all know BB benches people when they fumble, but panic on the guy coming off a season of 1200 yards but go for Wallace? Got it.

This is beyond comical.

Pretty much my whole fantasy team has been mentioned in this thread so far. Bowe, Spiller, Shorts, Wallace, Steelers, and I'll add one more of my players you guys left out- Chris Johnson

I don't think you really need to worry about Bowe. That game was basically over before halftime. KC more or less ran out the clock, even in the passing game, the rest of the way.
Bowe sucked last year and pretty much the year before that ... why wouldnt you need to worry if he started this season sucking again?

I own Ridley and I think "panic" is a very strong word but "worried" would be too weak of one. He had this problem last year, he doesn't seem to have corrected it. I am familiar with how BB does his RB's but at some point you are no longer in the doghouse you are just SOL because you can't secure the ball. He might not be there yet but he inched closer to it today.

Not that I was expecting a lot but Greg Jennings is close to leaving the LOD. Ponder is horrid and it looks like at age 32, he has killed his career by signing wiht MINN. Loved having him as my #3 with his deep strike capability but that appears to be long gone. Couple more weeks of Marlon Brown and this guy mauy find himself on waivers.

Wonder if he still feels the need to bash Aaron Rodgers.

Chad Henne has never had bigger fans than he has now in Shorts owners.

Really Blackmon and MJD owners should be hoping Henne takes over permanently as well.

Yep, people seem to forget that he was benched a couple times last season too. Didn't even start a game in the middle of the season because of it, IIRC, and still had a pretty good year. He won't be benched long term, it's just BB making his point as usual.

In the preseason? That is your argument? He wouldn't have benched Amendola. Ridley has a history with fumbling, they aren't going to cut Ridley but to think this is his backfield is short sighted to put it nicely.

Lamar Miller seems like a legit panic.
I'd agree, though there's also a slim chance that the Cleveland run defense is just that good. They were a sleeper in the offseason and have a seriously talented front seven.
As I homer I can tell you we're not THAT good. There were holes there at times, Miller just wasn't hitting them.
I think you are right. As a Miller dynasty owner, if I get a decent offer I'm cashing out.

Exactly
He has 1159 yards and 5 touchdowns the year before that, and last year could have hit 1000 again last season but he missed the last 3 games

Startable Thursday night?

James Jones...ruh roh
Jones value is dependent on TD's, same story as in the past
But he also had 64 catches last year. Today 0 with only 2 targets. I wouldn't panic but he was invisible in the offense today.
He also had a lot of those catches because Jordy was hurt--Finley had a horribly off year--and cobb was battling injuries all year--and the packers had no running game. This year--Jordy and cobb are back--and green bay drafted lacy-- if you think about it---he went from being option number 1 to option number 4--thats just reality.

David Wilson anybody?
It's not even half-time.
He's been a trainwreck the entire game.
The entire game hasn't happened yet. Half the game hasn't even happened yet.
Agreed, but the half that has been played has been terrible. I think if Coughlin had another player to put in for Wilson, it would have been done already. IMO thats the only thing saving wilson this week. Atleast he has an opportunity to improve his play in the 2nd half. Regardles of what he does, the vet they bring in this week is going to have an opportunity to earn some significant playing time.

I owned him last year and he was on my AVOID list this year. He still produced compared to where I drafted him last year and I think he still will for the most part this year, but I had that worry every single game. I hated knowing that a fumble would put him on the sideline unlike most other starting RB's.

I agree it's a little early to panic, Ridley should start the next game. On my pre draft I had Ridley and Vereen splitting carries 75%-25%, I am changing that now to 65-35 with how well SV and the fact he is a more dynamic back. I still feel SR will be a good rb 3/2 this year but I am tempering my expectations to 875- 1025 6tds. For full disclosure I have SV in 2 redrafts and 1 dynasty.

A trio that hasn't been mentioned are the Denver RBs; Ball, Hillman and Moreno.

I thought that a pecking order would have started to be established during the Baltimore game, but you can't rely on any of them yet.

The Pryor effect in Oakland makes it look like McFadden, even if he stays healthy, may go the Carolina RB route. When your QB runs 10 times a game, the running backs take a hit.
