Who do you start? (1 Viewer)

If you've got guys of similar caliber, how do you decide who to play?

Do you play a guy at home against a good defense over a guy playing on the road against a crappy D?

I feel the home crowd is a big advantage in the NFL so I usually lean toward playing my home guys. Even crappy Ds get fired up in front of the home folks and things can snowball.

Other thoughts?

Crap D every time. They're crappy for a reason and 99 times out of a hundred that reason isn't because they've played too many away games.

Crappy D on the road.

Usually I like to start rb's against a weaker D, but the rb's history against the defense he is playing will influence the decision more. If one of my backs has a history of putting up big #s against a tough defense I may start him based on that alone.

RB: Crappy D on the road

QB: Good D at home. Not having to deal w/ noise is a big advantage for the home QB.

i dont think you'll get ONE poster to put start against good Def over a crap Def

could be on Mars for all anyone cares, crap def gives up scores/yards and you want scores/yards
