I wish I was back home in Cleveland instead of Tenneessee but that's because I was born and raised in Cleveland.Sounds like everyone wishes they were in the mid-atlantic.
The Hooters in Horn Lake has some hot chicks.I always laugh at the "Mississippi tourism" ads I used to hear on the radio.I note that throughout the 5 pages of this thread, nobody has offered a single positive about the state of Mississippi. Is there one?
Seriously, it's an odd state. I've heard Natchez is an interesting town, though I've never made it there.
Just a really poor state. Very little money, and that feeds on itself and leads to bad schooling, etc.
But it's not as if the OP's feelings toward the south can be summarized in Mississippi. Yes, there are a lot of rednecks there. But the state is also 37% black too. Basically it's a state of poor people, no big towns, a lack of great jobs, terrible schools, etc.
That's all I've got.
It's going to happen everywhere. you're a terrible fisherman. they need you in the border thread. go back over there please.
