Wildcard Game Thread - Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals (1 Viewer)

I find it odd that he (Edge) would come out this week and say he was done in AZ and that he didn't come to the dessert to block... when he must've known he was going to get some important carries in a playoff game.
Considering what a selfish ******* James is, this is probably a smart move by the Cardinals. He is gonna run his butt off, to try and get attention for another team to take a chance on him in the offseason, and the Cardinals will benefit obviously if he runs the ball well in the playoffs.

Wide open WR running through middle. Ryan looks like deer in headlights.
Ryan's been playing like this for the last three weeks now... well not quite this bad, but not with the feel and calmness he displayed for the first three months of the season. Turner really put the team on his back down the stretch, and it looks like there's no way that can happen today. What's funny is that lots of people are probably seeing Ryan for the first time today and will wonder why he got any praise at all. Now, Ryan did pull the "lay an egg for most of the game and make the plays in the end" during his senior season, but for that to happen, the Atlanta D will have to keep it close. I don't see that happening with Edge running well...

Have to wonder if the Cardinals just lost focus towards the end of the year after they clinched the division so early. They could be better than what people think.

Sorry if addressed elsewhere, but what happened to the blackout issues for this game? did they get the tix sold?

Kinda kicking myself for not putting the ARi Defense on my playoff fantasy squad.

Atlanta needs a drive, preferably establishing the run.

Turner, Norwood - whomever. Burn some clock, get some field position, and let Ryan calm down.

lmao saying White had bust label but it might have been a little bit do with Vick being his QB. Id say ALOT to do with it

Again - hurrying the timeout there is a mistake. Wait as long as you can and then challenge if you think you will (and you should).

Collinsworth just said Jenkins could have turned that back upfield and scored? Um, did he miss the two Arizona defenders that would have been in his way? I swear, some of these announcers do not think before they speak.

Uh, that was a first down. It's where the ball is, not the body. Everyone knows the rule is the ball, but seems like the refs only ever look at it that way when it comes to breaking the goaline.
