I'd take the Ravens D over both of them.Flacco - 2010 and beyond. Pennington for sure in '08. Toss up for '09.But you'd rather have Penny over Flacco? I don't get that one, Chase.Haven't checked any of the comments yet but this game going exactly as expected. I love Pennington but he can't score two touchdowns against a defense this good. I saw no way Miami was getting 17 points before today, and nothing I've seen in the first half has changed that.P.S. Reed - wow. Can't kill Pennington on that one because it was like a punt but this is why the Ravens were the heavy favorite on the road.
Let MoP vent. His team will be joining mine in 30 minutes. Pennington's a very good QB but he's never been able to top a defense like this. With PIT/BAL in these playoffs, Miami was in a very tough spot. If they were the 4 seed they probably would have beaten Indy and had a puncher's chance in Tennessee. But facing BAL/PIT back to back means Miami had very little chance of getting to the AFCCG.Haven't checked any of the comments yet but this game going exactly as expected. lolAnd lol @ the MIA defender(s) who couldn't bring down freakin Flacco on the QB run for the first.PS that is not a catch IMOJust had a Kirby vacuum salesman come to my door. 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning. WTF?
Way too soon but if this one holds up, it was a pretty impressive pitch and catch. Flacco has an amazing arm. With that pass putting the Ravens in FG territory again, this game is now over.
It wasn't "perfect" but mostly agree.Chad is done. He's too scared now. That screen was set up PERFECTLY and he threw it into the ground just assuming it wouldn't be open.
While I admit the momentum would have to change, a 10 point lead with an entire half to play is a tad early to call the game over. With that pass putting the Ravens in FG territory again, this game is now over.
I know it looks simple enough but they've got to keep their blitzing timely and not go all out too often. Baltimore has plays in the arsenal to take advantage of that kind of stuff. The Fins' D is playing pretty well IMO.Every time they blitz, it's not even close to being a positive play for the Ravens. Too bad it took them so friggin' long to figure it out.
http://channelsurfing.net/Anyone have a non justintv link for the game? justin usually gets yanked in the 2nd qtr...
Agreed. This one is close to over because I don't see Miami scoring two touchdowns or a TD and two FGs in the second half.Ravens D is awesome and if it wasn't for a historically good Pit D, we'd be talking about them a lot more. Ravens D may outscore Miami's O today, since they've already got a 4 point lead.I wonder if Miami regrets the decision not to carry more WRs -- spread offense may be the only way to get back into this game but that's not an option with Miami's personnel.Miami fans are about to see a VERY short second half as the Ravens will run a ton of clock with McClain and McGahee. Flacco may not need to throw more that six times after halftime.
Not sure what other WRs that they could even dress. Camarillo's out - who else they got?Agreed. Can't carry what you don't have. Unfortunately, even after wasting the #9 pick int he draft last year we will have to address the WR position. I tried to deny it for the past couple of weeks but they need some serious help even if it is finding 4 more Greg Camarillos, whatever but Teddy Ginn is terrible and you aren't going anywhere with 2 undrafted rookies as your WR2 and WR3...down by 10, I agree the game is basically over.Agreed. Then I don't understand dressing only three. That's a mistake. What is more important than having 4 WRs available?WilfordSo not much...Not sure what other WRs that they could even dress. Good Lord, man. The Fins may lose this one, but they have a lot going on.Did not think this is how we would lose. This is how the old Dolphins lost from 1998 on.
Ravens led the league with INTs this year. Can't fault Miami too much.Did not think this is how we would lose. This is how the old Dolphins lost from 1998 on.
....and going.....and the beatdown continues.
Baltimore will not be favored at Tennessee, but perhaps they should be.I'll happily take them with any points I can get.
I say they get 3 or 3.5.uh yeah, actually you can. and should.Time to do laundry and cruise over to PHI/MIN thread in an hourRavens led the league with INTs this year. Can't fault Miami too much.Did not think this is how we would lose. This is how the old Dolphins lost from 1998 on.
