**SNF in NRG Stadium Lions at Texans** (+3.5, 49.0) (1 Viewer)

Bates was born about 40 miles north of NRG Stadium

nice moment for him

that's the 11th biggest comeback in Detroit Lions history - down 16 at the half - and the biggest comeback in the Dan Campbell/Jared Goff era

Congrats Detroit fans, pulling for you in the NFC as a fellow long suffering fanbase member (but y'all have a lot more decades on us Texans.) Could blame the Refs for missing that obvious PI as it would have been a fresh set of downs and 10 yards closer but we have only ourselves to blame for the poor offensive showing in the 2nd half that let it get to a tie game.

This is the most locked in the Texans have been all year and the kind of team I expected to see when the season started. Now just hoping they can turn the corner and carry some of that momentum to the 2nd half after the Lions inevitably make the necessary adjustments.

Same ol Texans. Not sure why I was hopeful they'd change :kicksrock:

Man, I went through a couple dozen emotions that game.
Gotta give credit to the Lions. Kept fighting, kept clawing back.
An ugly game in a lot of ways, but I'm not complaining about the W.

Houston was horrible offensive play calling in the second half. Calls were playing not to lose and scared. Just brutal.

Crying about a PI call when you got shut out in the 2h despite getting 2 picks (5 total) from your D is good shtick

Texans are lucky to be in that abysmal division, that team has first round playoff loss written all over them. Probably get rolled by Bo Nix and Denver at home or something

I'll say Lions win 27-24.
Close enough...I'd feel fine if I were a Texans fan. Still have a huge division lead and didn't have 2 of your 3 best players tonight.

You wouldn't feel fine with that 2nd half. Abysmal and a problem all season - our offense playing it safe and not making 2nd half adjustments. Losing to a team that committed 5 interceptions is not good.
