Will That Dog Hunt? 2025 Redraft & Dynasty! (3 Viewers)

15.(172)Cleveland (Cle - DEF)

Pretty standard 12 team PPR league, apart from start 2 WRs and two flex spots (WR/TE and WR/RB). TLaw was a mistake which I'm hoping to trade out of. I've taken a few big swings which makes it fun for me.

Just got done with my 12 team 0.5ppr superflex. 4 point passing tds
Pretty big starting lineups: 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 wr/te, 1 te, 1 flex, 1 superflex (you can put a second qb here), 1 kicker, 1 defense.

QBS: Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield
RB’S: Jahmyr Gibbs, Breece Hall, James Connor, Skattebo, Trey Benson, Braylon Allen, Tyler Allgier
WR’s: Terry McLaurin, Xavier Worthy, Rome Odunze, Keenan Allen, Christian Kirk
TE: Evan Engram
Bills defense
McPherson kicker
Sick QB pair, Gibbs, Worthy should keep you in the hunt. If Connor and/or hall comes through you’ll be cookin with gas. I like the Hall/Allen combo too.

If all that happens and TMc gets his *** on the field you’ll be a serious contender.
Thank you. It was an auction format—and I started out big on Lamar, Gibbs and paid a decent price for Baker. My Wr’s were where I had to sacrifice—but I feel like I have some talent there. I haven’t been following engram much—so I’m not sure where I stand at TE. He’s ranked pretty good on the draft sheets and I got him for $4 out of $200 budget. I’m just hoping he’s decent enough to be middle of the pack.

hunting or back to the waiver wire?????

I think you have a very solid team that has the potential to be an elite team based on how CMC performs. If he’s anywhere near a top 5-7 rb and stays healthy—I think you’ll be tough to beat (assuming you don’t suffer catastrophic injury elsewhere). I ilke that you “insured” him with Brian robinson—although my guess is that if he gets hurt—guerendo will be in the mix as well. Hampton has a lot of upside and Kamara should have a nice floor. You have upside with Warren—and I like your depth at WR. Can I ask at what draft position you drafted CMC? To land him and Jefferson seems tough.

To me, the entire team hinges on whether “Bill” is a thing or not.

You have some nice pieces. I like Gibbs to start, I like your next pick with Ladd. Your wr’s are solid with Ladd, JSN, McMillan and Jeudy. I actually don’t think Lawrence was the mistake. I think Goff and Tua were the mistake. I am of the belief that this season—there are 4-5 real difference maker quarterbacks—and beyond that—the gap between them is not huge. I personally would not have waited for qb and then drafted Goff at round 8. I would have rather waited until rounds 9-11 and ended up with guys like Dak, Purdy, Love…etc.. I also personally love the Breece pick near the tail end of the 4th. Gibbs and Breece are nice—and Tracy could be good to start the season—but I do worry about his ability to hold the job down. I think you are solid overall, but that you could possibly use some more depth at RB. Of course—if Walker gets hurt and Charbonnet gets a bigger role—that could be the solution. I also think that in a 12 team single qb league—you really don’t need to even be rostering 2 qb’s

I drafted 10th......not sure at all why those 2 both slid. Its normally a solid draft (in our 28th year) but for some reason people went nuts in the first 2 rounds.

NFFC ROC, drafted 1.03 with 3RR

QB - Mayfield
RB - Gibbs, Hampton
WR - Ladd, MH2, Flowers
TE - LaPorta
FL - [whoever’s healthy between Stevenson, Reed, or the bench for 3 weeks]
K - DET TK
D/ST - BAL
BN - JJM, Stevenson, Bigsby, Allgeier, Roschon, Miles Sanders, Addison (S), Royals, Likely, LAC D/ST

Need one of the bench scrubs to hold down the fort at flex while Addison is suspended.

In this format, the first 3 games are all-play. Top 6 get a win, bottom 6 get a loss. Then it’s H2H 4-14.

I didn’t like this team on draft day. It’s growing on me.

I like this team a lot. I think Mayfield (along with maybe 2 other qbs) is at a tier just below the elite guys—so I think you’re good here. Gibbs is a beast, and Hampton should be a beast—and especially so to start the season with Najae still practicing on the sidelines. Your WR’s are studs. I think that once Addison comes back—your team is strong top to bottom. I do like your upside rb’s on your bench—and Laporta is a solid tight end. I think this dog will hunt.

I like it a lot. Top 2 or 3 team all season.

I think you'll be fine streaming Goff/Lawrence/Tua at QB. Kraft could easily sneak into the top 5 at the TE position.

10tm .5ppr redraft

QB: Dak, Trevor Lawrence

RB: Jonathan Taylor, Hampton, Henderson, Bigsby, Scatteboo, Ekler, Ollie Gordon

WR: Ceedee, Tyreek, Tetairoa, Hunter, Godwin

TE: Bowers, Warren

Taking TE early was very out of character for me; tilted a bit, felt I needed high upside there rest of the draft.
I think you smashed it.

Any time you get under 12 teams, I'm hugely in favor of paying up for TE and/or QB. QB is easier to stream. Dak could be top 5. I think Lawrence is super undervalued this season as well.

RB's are really strong. I'd be happy with Taylor and 1 of Hampton/Henderson. Getting both is pretty absurd.
WR room is really strong.

Top 2 or 3 team all season.

Thanks - I took the 2nd D/ST because look at the combined schedule of BAL & LAC.

Appreciate everyone putting this thread together and participating.

I've got a handful I'd love to get checked. I'll start with my FBG Shark Pool draft. I feel good about it, but playing against the full shark pool, it's probably pretty thin margins.

Achane scares me, but you have solid depth here with Mason.

Receivers are solid, Kittle abut to be an absolute target hog.

She’ll hunt. 🐶

Always a fun thread.
16 Team IDP .75 PPR, TD's are based on length...ex 1yd TD run is 3 points but a 20+ is 6. It varies by the length. ( I know it's odd but it been that way for almost 30 years now. lol big play heavy)
We keep 6 players on OFF and 8 on DEF so it's more of a keeper/dyno hybrid. Previous keepers bolded. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB 1 ST

QB: Joe Burrow, Cam Ward
RB: Kamara, Kaleb Johnson, Braelon Allen, Quinshon Judkins (taxi squad)

My draft:
1.14 14 Baton Rouge Raiders Johnson, Kaleb PIT RB (R)
2.14 30 Baton Rouge Raiders Judkins, Quinshon CLE RB (R)
3.06 38 Baton Rouge Raiders Ward, Cam TEN QB (R)
3.14 46 Baton Rouge Raiders Higgins, Jayden HOU WR (R)

7.14 110 Baton Rouge Raiders Seahawks, Seattle SEA ST
8.14 126 Baton Rouge Raiders Barron, Jahdae DEN CB (R)
9.14 142 Baton Rouge Raiders Waller, Darren MIA TE

Full draft is here is anyone enjoys that detail.

Post draft:
Moved Judkins to Taxi and picked up Braelon allen
Dropped Barron due to bye conflict and picked up Chauncey Gardner-Johnson

My thoughts:
* I tend to draft mostly rookies to compliment my vets so even though the draft is a mix of veterans and rookies I always go rookie heavy hoping a couple hit each season.
* I needed to get younger and better at RB: Surprised Kaleb fell but was thrilled. Same for Judkins. His situation makes for a great Taxi squad player. I think Breece is gone next season or a trade deadline target.
* Being a Hurricanes fan I got to see a lot of Ward. Kid has the juice. Hopefully he'll have a great season and then I'll have a tough decision.
* Very optimistic for Higgins @ 3.14. Loved the value
* Want to get younger at LB but missed out on Schwesinger who went at 2.12. So just punted the idea and will hound the wire or look at a trade later in the season.
* last pick was a flyer at TE. I don't expect much from Waller but if he does half what Jonnu did then he's a decent enough bye week filler. Fannin and Terrence Ferguson are both still available. I like Fannin but he also has a week 8 bye with McBride and I am super thin that week already. Although I may just snag Fannin and hope for the best. My opponent it not real strong and week 8 is hitting him hard too.

Overall very happy with the team and how the draft played out. I'd still like to improve at RB. The Achane owner is a huge Steelers fan and seems open to discussion. Might try to package Kamara and Watt to make a run at him. Watt is a monster in this league especially when paired with Garrett, but I do like Verse and think he could be the next big DE.

Might hunt. RB are pretty thin. QBs solid (jury’s out on TLlaw). If ETN stays in JAX or moves to a better situation, and Henry has another big year in him, this dog might hunt.

The “all risk” RB room.

.5 PPR I like it. Should hunt. Daniels cost you at WR, but he should make up for it with his legs.
100% haha. It’s more of a casual fun league so I went with a wild RB/RB/QB/RB start, and all high ceiling injury prone dudes.

I’ll either come first or last.

10 Team Superflex League

QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/Flex/SuperFlex/K/D

4 pt passing. No PPR.

QB: J Burrow

This league was new to me, and I know most of my league mates and they aren’t stupid, but they seemed to draft stupid. Running backs were running while I was nabbing QBs and WRs. Then everyone started panicking and grabbing QBs and WRs while I picked up RB and TE.

My RBs and Flex are obviously not a strength, but that is to be expected when I don’t take a RB till the 6th round.

I dont think so at all. You have a deep stable of rbs. My first reaction was that your wr core is great but need 1 more but I read it as start 3....Im assuming start 1 which makes it not a big deal. This dog certainly should hunt.

ROC Online draft

1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLX, 1 D/ST, 1 TK

3RR draft format, I had pick 12.

As we get closer to the season ADP has shifted a lot.

QB - Nix
RB - Chase Brown, James Cook
WR - London, Worthy, Jameson Williams
TE - LaPorta
Flex - Tracy
D/ST - Eagles
TK - Bills

Bench: Goff, Benson, White, Tahj Brooks, Justice Hill, Mims, Shaheed, Leggett, Austin III, Likely

Wasn’t planning on TE “early” but 6.12 felt pretty solid for LaPorta.

Waited until the 8/9 turn for a QB and was happy to have one of Nix or Baker. In hindsight I might have wanted to take Mason there instead of Mims.

Missed Ray Davis by 1 lousy pick to a team that hadn’t taken a QB through 12 rounds, so I took the last of a tier in Goff as a QB2 at 12.12 — petty? You bet! There were 4 teams that still hadn’t taken a QB, and I definitely started a run because 7 went in between my picks. Worth it.

Somehow landed the Eagles as the 3rd D/ST in the 17th - that, too started a run.

I kinda dig it. It’s the last of my birthday 3-pack.

2 drafts left this year. NFFC BB on Friday evening, Home league IDP on Saturday. LFG!

Hunting dog here. WR are all a little underrated but scrappy - if Tet hits she’s a hunter for sure. I’m a little worried about Hall.

12 team, 0.5 PPR, QB /2 RB/2 WR/1 TE/1 Flex/ D. I had Brown and Achane as keepers.
  • Daniels
  • Bijan, Brown, Achane, Charbonnet, Allgeier
  • McLaurin, Metcalf, Waddle, Jauan Jennings, Higgins
  • Kincaid, Okonkwo
  • Ravens

Hunts.

WRs are a little rough, but if you get anything out of the TEs, you’ll be a favorite. TMc, DKM, Waddle all have risks but their upside is huge.

Especially in a .5 PPR - those RBs will carry you.

RBs: Saquon, A. Jones, Tracy, Warren, JCM, some upside handcuffs (Davis, Hunter, Monangai)
WRs: Rice, Evans, Higgins, Waddle, Coleman, Kupp, Bech

I've been a tier 2 contender for 4-5 seasons (2nd-5th in points every year, made finals and semifinals but no titles). Feels like maybe I am stuck in that zone still and needing a break, but feeling like it's one last hurrah with some of the older vets before a bit of a reset.

Gimme your worst.

I have never played dynasty so unsure if this is wise or not, but could you look to move Warren at TE? I don't see a universe where you don't start Bowers so maybe you could dangle him and say Jones for an upgrade somewhere?

The Rice suspension news stings but Evans and Higgins is still a nice starting duo.

12 team, 0.5 PPR, QB /2 RB/2 WR/1 TE/1 Flex/ D. I had Brown and Achane as keepers.
  • Daniels
  • Bijan, Brown, Achane, Charbonnet, Allgeier
  • McLaurin, Metcalf, Waddle, Jauan Jennings, Higgins
  • Kincaid, Okonkwo
  • Ravens
Hitting them with Achane or Brown in the flex is a massive weekly advantage. Wish you had a better TE but that looks like a contender.
A probably screwed up by not taking Hockenson when he was available and going Charbs instead. I just think he could have a massive year given Walker's injury concerns/Charbs could have a little stand alone value too.

My wife's family wanted to do a family league this year and I got roped in last minute. Never been in 2 leagues at once so this should be stressfu...fun lol.

10 team .5 PPR Redraft, start Qb/Rb/Rb/Wr/Wr/Flex/Te/Dst/K. Didn't know until after the draft that commish changed passing TD's to 6 points. This caused an insane, and I mean insane run on QBs. I couldn't figure out why most people were drafting and are rostering 2 QBs when we only start one. Not sure if they are geniuses but yeah, I punted Qb not knowing this and seeing all this value in front of me and ended up with a mid Qb. Bench is stacked though. Oh well lol.

Also, I got Rashee Rice in the last round and with his news this morning I hope and can stay in the mix until week 7, IMO he's a great WR2 with 1 upside. I posted my earlier home league draft with the same points setup (minus the 6 point TD passes), and it is completely opposite of this team. That team is heavy stud WR's and Elite QB and TE. This team is heavy Stud RBs, decent WRs, and mid QB/TE. Will be a great experiment throughout the season to see which one works better.

I pretty much plan to start Gibbs, Jacobs, and Cook in the RB and Flex spots each week, set and forget. QB and TE will probably be streaming unless I see early season consistency.

QB - JJ McCarthy
RB - Gibbs, Jacobs, Cook, Henderson
WR - McConkey, Adams, Sutton, McMillan, Williams, Pearsall, Rice (SUSP)
TE - Ertz
DST - Hou
K - Loop

That is a nasty team my guy.
That has to be a dynasty team right? Where he got to keep these guys already. Trying to see how the draft went:
  1. Burrow or Daniels
  2. Daniels or Burrow
  3. Nico or BTJ
  4. BTJ or Nico
  5. McBride

TE - Ertz
DST - Hou

Absolutely stacked. They’re probably regretting roping you in. Hunting dog, obviously. 🐶

I was stressing about the QB situation with the scoring system. But I keep reminding myself what KOC did with Darnold and Cousins. Hoping JJ works out!

He’s got Thielen too now, and after week 3 he’ll have Addison. I’m pretty confident in JJM.

Redraft… no keepers. You basically nailed my draft order other than Love going a little earlier because I walked away to pee thinking I had a full round to go, but didn’t realized my turn was coming right back to me and it auto drafted Love.

I was 8th pick out of ten here. Theres a few other fairly strong teams in this league on paper. I’ve never played fantasy with this crew, but all are pretty close friends and fairly sports savvy…

McBride feels like the biggest steal. Though I could probably say the same for Nico and BTG.

Like I said, everyone was pecking away at RBs early, and then QBs started drafting and that trend continued after I’d already snagged two…. So that talent fell.

I will add one caveat. This was my first draft ever on NFL.com as a platform. And their rankings they put up are atrocious and must not coincide with the league scoring rules. QBs were out of sight down the board. That may have been helpful now that I think about it, and guys that may do less research than most and just show up with sports knowledge.

That's a pretty amazing team for redraft. Definitely will be in the hunt.

Some pretty crazy QB/TE overlap with my team in 10 team, 2QB, all td's 6 pts, 0.5 ppr. Whadduyah think?

QB: Daniels
QB: Burrow
RB: Achane
RB: Conner
WR: AJBrown
WR: Devante Adams
WR: Tet McMillan
TE: McBride
Flex: XWorthy
D: ?
K: ?
Bench: Bryce Young, Trey Benson, JK Dobbins, Bhayshul Tuten, Jacory Croskey-Merrit, Kyle Monangai, Deebo Samuel, Jayden Higgins, Tyler Warrn. Will need to drop two if I want to start a D/K.

My 3 Dynos:

I have one (full ppr) team that will hunt as long as everything goes to plans.
Purdy (Penxix Fields) 6pt 1/20 QB scoring
Bijan
Kyren
Breece
Lamb
ARSB
Andrews/Henry/Kraft/Taylor (We'll see who's the starter..)
Warren, Javonte and a bunch of guys on the bench including LB3
No first so if things go south, c'est la vie.

My second one is super frisky. There are some good scenarios for this team but not like a super team (also full ppr)
Lawrence (Nix, Murray) 4pt 1/25
Irving
Hendo
London
JSN
MHJ
Flex- best of Wilson/Dobbins/Pacheco/Shaheed
Hunter Henry (Otten/ Friermuth/Fannin)
Also have two firsts next year so I might be making a push later in the year if things go well.

The third team is the one that I think would take a small (medium sized?) miracle but I think I'll try to keep it competitive for as long as I can:
Herbert (Geno, C. Williams)
Irving
Brown
McConkey
Ridley
Mims
I'll be flexing White/ LB3/ Demario Douglas/ Yoshi/ Tuten/ Blue
Hockensen/ Henry/Taylor/ Otton
It's 0ppr to be .5ppr next year
It's a strange situation to have so many undervalued producers and yet still not a complete team. I'm going to finish in 6th to 8th place forever in this league. This is my fate and I have accepted it. I took this team over 2 years ago and have made many bad moves. The team is getting younger but not worse or better. *shrugs*

12 team PPR
Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, 1 K, 1 Defense

QB: Kyler/Lawrence
RB: Bijan/Walker/Mason/Bigsby
WR: AJ Brown/Garrett Wilson/Pickens/Egbuka/Pearsall/Kirk/Coker
TE: McBride
Defense: Arizona
K: Gay
