Fletcher to visit Titans
Corner, Stallworth among prospects

The Titans turnstile could start moving in the inbound direction today as the team meets with free agent cornerback Jamar Fletcher and free agent receiver Donte' Stallworth, a one-time Vols star.
Stallworth was scheduled to arrive in Nashville on Tuesday night after a visit with New England. He and Fletcher, a six-year veteran who had three interceptions for Detroit last season, plan to meet with team officials today at the Titans MetroCenter headquarters, The Tennessean has learned.
The Miami Dolphins drafted Fletcher, who has seven interceptions in a six-year career, 26th overall out of Wisconsin in 2001. He was traded to San Diego in March 2004 for receiver David Boston and a conditional sixth-round draft pick. Fletcher signed a one-year deal with Detroit in May 2006 and pulled in three interceptions in 13 games.
General Manager Mike Reinfeldt would not confirm that either player was on the team's docket, but acknowledged reports that said Stallworth was coming and talked a bit about the Titans' attraction.
"He has some big-play ability; there is no doubt about that," Reinfeldt said. "He was taken as the 13th player in the first round. That shows he had great speed, great quickness, those are the reasons teams take a guy that high."
Coach Jeff Fisher could not be reached for comment.
Indications are that Stallworth will consider two different routes regarding a contract.
If he can't get a four- or five-year package that comes with a signing bonus of about $12 million, he'll consider a one-year deal that will allow him to make a splash and head back into free agency in a year.
Reinfeldt said two more free agents, whom he declined to name, will visit the team Thursday, though it's unclear if they will arrive tonight for Thursday visits or Thursday night for Friday visits.
Reinfeldt said he believes there is a competitive advantage in not revealing who the team is bringing in, though it's common practice for some teams or player agents to discuss such visits in advance.
"People visit other places and you see it on the Internet," he said. "Three guys are making calls for the guy not to visit sometimes. We like to get them in here without sending out the alert that the guy's coming in."
In other free-agent developments Tuesday:
• Titans running back Chris Brown will visit with Buffalo today, agent Wynn Silberman said. Dominic Rhodes met with the Bills on Tuesday. Buffalo is clearly serious about dealing away Willis McGahee, who's heading into the last year of his contract.
"He's a player that we want back," Reinfeldt said of Brown. "I talked to his agent before free agency started and I've talked to him two or three times since."
• Reinfeldt said that with Rams free agent receiver Kevin Curtis having fired Tom Condon as his agent, that interested teams now have to call the receiver directly.
• The Titans have expressed an interest in Cincinnati free agent wide receiver Kelley Washington, asking to be kept abreast of his status. New England, Atlanta and Miami have expressed an interest, with Tampa Bay and Minnesota also in the mix.
• Titans defensive tackle Robaire Smith visited the Cleveland Browns.
