I've chronicled a bit on here my wife's and my rollercoaster ride of trying to have kids. From improbably unlucky bouts with IVF to fostering children (see the "trouble getting pregnant" thread) and having the state clear us for adoption only to essentially tell us "just kidding" a short while later (chronicled mostly here in this thread: https://forums.footballguys.com/forum/topic/759463-preparing-fordealing-with-the-loss-of-a-child/page/5/#comments ) it's been a ride. That ride ended today with us adopting two chidren (including the little boy we had from his birth until two when the state moved him back to his bio mom for a period of until February of just this year). We now have 4. Our youngest is 3 years old and two in the middle who are 5 (but not twins) and the oldest, who we adopted today, turned 6 two days again.
Not how we drew it up and we will have no more. But very pleased to say the journey is over. Now just comes the easy part of having zero free time and working really hard to spend the hundreds of thousands of dollars necessary to raise them!
