WR A.J. Green, ARZ (3 Viewers)

I wish I could bench him in PPR and play Hurns or Diggs, but I'm getting burned this season by the fear that he will go off the minute I bench him.

However, if Diggs starts putting up numbers again, I'll gladly bench Green. Green offers little upside this season.

It's amazing how some of you treat AJ like he's garbage. Considering starting people like Dwayne Harris over him? You deserve him going off today!

No one blames AJ as his talent is off the charts. This is only his 3rd good game all year. Hopefully this reminds Dalton and the coaches how good he is and he starts rolling.

This is exactly what I hope will happen. Eventually, I started thinking of him as a #3WR, not a #1WR. I'd be happier if he can climb even to #2 status. Maybe this game will remind Dalton to throw to him more.

Does everybody just keep rolling him out every week regardless of matchup? He has underperformed his ranking/projection 8 out of 10 weeks.

80% of the time! Up against a Rams defense that is 29th in FFPA. Haven't allowed a WR to gain more than 50 yards since Week 5.

Benching for Travis Benjamin at WR3, and Diggs in the Flex.
I'm guessing it depends on who you have in your lineup but IMO Green needs to be in your lineup every week. The guy is a elite receiver, but the CIN game plan isn't based on him which isn't his fault. By years end he will end up in the top 10 WRs I have complete confidence.
Wow, really going out on a limb there, guy. He's WR10 now.
I understand your snide remark, but then if he is already a top 10 wr, why are ppl contemplating on sitting him? My comment was to reassure he will continue being a top 10. You should direct those wonderful and insightful remarks to those who are considering sitting him.

He hasn't done very well against Cleveland for quite awhile I remember reading before the last Cleveland game. Can't bench him though.

Eifert being out certainly helps.

Obviously unstartable next week, correct?
I hope not. It sounds like they're just letting him take it easy this second half, especially since they're currently coasting. If Pittsburgh manages to win against Denver, I think they'll still be fighting for the division title (not 100% positive on this). I imagine they'll rest him all week, and he'll be good to go next week, especially if a division title is on the line. I'll be starting him.

I was referring more to his QB and opponent than injury.

Comparing what Pitt is doing today to an AJ MC offense is clearly insane, Pitt might have the best offense in the NFL. This Denver defense will be dropping the hammer on Cincy next week.

I may start Crabtree over him next week...if I manage to pull my gamely no thanks to him.

Bump for news this week. Who is rolling with him? Mysterious injury, Monday night game in Denver with shaky QB situation is no bueno.

If I drop him to Flex my options are:

Benjamin @ KC

Gurley @ SEA

Stewart @ ATL (no news)

Guess I'll have a MNF sweat. Also starting the DEN DST. My opponent will be done with Eli SNF.

I'm probably rolling with him if he is healthy. I could go with John Brown, Moncrief, or Boldin but I couldn't stomach benching Green if he is fine.

AJ and OBJ carrying me to the finals and dropping my dead carcass there.

Finding it very hard to start AJ with any confidence, but may not have any choice.

I'm in similar situatation. Had Alshon and Amendola (didn't start Amendola). Going to be picking up one maybe 2 people to start in the finals.

No news seems strange, I basically need him to start. If he's a GTD I'm not sure where I go.

If Brees is out too I won't be playing Cooks.

Right now

Hopkins, Green, Cooks

Lockett will replace one of the last two, but looking at other options to stash on the bench.

As of right now I'm thinking:

Antonio

ARob

Michael Floyd

FLEX - Benjamin

Bench - Green

Will keep going back and forth all week. AB & AJ are the only two guys I've never benched.

I can find more info about Alshon Jeffrey who could have had his leg amputated and the Bears wouldn't tell you this year.

Very weird that there is no updates.

I would think there would some news today. It might have something to do with playing on Monday night and they got an extra day of rest?

Ugh.

Just seems so wrong to bench a guy I have rolled out every week except his bye.

Compounded by the fact I don't like my alternatives.

Need more information on his health before deciding.

Being a Monday night game, I think the best you are going to get is "Questionable-back".

I don't own him and don't have the decision to make but if I did, I think I would be looking more at the other things, such as he has a backup QB playing on the road against the best passing defense in football (or one of the best).

I'm not counting on him. Was able to get Randle off waivers and am going to trot him out there unless AJ is removed from the injury report altogether.
