Why can't it be both?SMDH at people who can't see the difference between a mistake and an intentional act.
When I visited San Francisco there was a homeless man who dug up a bush and hid behind it to jump scare people on a bridge. I was walking by and was wondering what everyone was staring at. Bush man scared the hell out of me.we see videos all the time of people jumping out of trash cans or pretending to be a fake bush or something and startle people in their personal space and they end up getting knocked the F outwhat is going on
With the current focus on concussions in the NFL, and media alike.. this guy is smart to have put 'minor concussion' in his injury report...
I am going to disagree with many. I think the push was fine after watching this angle. This day and age you never know. A lot of cray people out there. This guy was obviously frustrated and, out of nowhere, a guy runs in front of him. The push doesn't appear to be very hard. More of a "not so close buddy" push.Did anyone see this angle? Won't justify what Adams did but I might be OK with just a fine after watching it from basically over his shoulder, it does seem like the camera man, sound guy ran right in front of him or almost into Adams and it sure doesn't look like Adams was seeking out a defenseless victim but the overhead camera shot looks much worse than watching it as if you were walking thru the tunnel into the locker room
Guy should have watched where he was going. Let's be real here.So weird how people are just casually ok with stuff like this. Bizarre country we live in.I hope the cameraman isn't severely injured from his brush with death.
But there will be more Chiefs fans at that game than Raider fans. Especially if their season continues at the current paceAh, the old AFC rivalry in full force.
kc fans were throwing objects at the players entering the tunnel at halftime. looked like security was failing all game long.
I fully expect Raiders fans to dish it out and even more when the Chiefs head to Vegas later this season.
I still believe Adams was wrong to push the guy and should get fined. That’s the easy part. The sad part is that the cameraman is going to blow this up to a complete money grab. With the current focus on concussions in the NFL, and media alike.. this guy is smart to have put 'minor concussion' in his injury report...
if I was that photographer dude I'd still be in the hospital, if they insist on discharging me I'm in a neck brace and a wheelchar.
"did Adams wire any money yet? sorry...meant to say...where am I, what happened, what day is it, who are you?"
looking at the different angles it seems like he was looking down and to the right, probably fuming over the game, and dude cut it pretty close. I could def see it provoking a startled response. regardless, Davante is a big dude and you simply cannot lay hands on people. too much at risk.
fine no suspension IMO. but they can't just let it go.

Outstanding!Im pretty sure Ive seen Belichick push camera men and several others many times after games....no suspension that Ive seen for that.
we will see...I think it is last game of the year so that could really change things depending on how much it means....But there will be more Chiefs fans at that game than Raider fans. Especially if their season continues at the current paceAh, the old AFC rivalry in full force.

As a Waller owner I knew this and still spaced itNobody is playing him this week…I think everybody in this thread must state at the begging of their post if they are an Adams owner or not, and if they are a Raiders fan or not. Really seems like a lot of people are biased here. Great popcorn reading though!
Example
**Not an Adams owner and not a Raiders fan**
Adams should have never put his hands on anybody. It does not matter what civil case/charges are brought to him. He broke the NFL conduct policy, and deserves a fine and possible suspension.
I’m not playing Adams this week either…
According to police, after the victim pushed Kamara’s hand off his chest, Kamara shoved him before another suspect, identified as Lammons, punched Greene and knocked him back against a wall.
The documents state that Kamara then lunged towards the victim and punched him several times before the victim fell unconscious. Once the victim was on the ground, Kamara beat him three more times before Lammons, and the two other men joined in and began stomping on him, a report said.
M O N E Y GRABBBBB!!! (probably premeditated and aided by the recent NFL issues with concussions)I want to make sure I am reading this correctly because they made it out as if this person was credentialed, that's a loose term here.

Student injured by Raiders WR Davante Adams calls shove ‘unsportsmanlike,’ ‘act of violence’
The college student who was injured by Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams called the shove "egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence" in a statement Wednesday via his attorney.www.kshb.com
his “first day on the job,”
"What happened was egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence that should not be excused by the NFL."
I would have had more respect if he came out and said something like he's doing well, wished it hadn't happened but he did have to seek some medical treatment and to respect his privacy while he explores his next potential options, thanks. But that's not the tone or anything close to what he had the attorney release.
I went from feeling sorry for the kid to wanting to tape him to the goalpost, gotta be honest.
Dan Curry with the Brown & Curry Law Firm said the student, who was carrying equipment for a camera operator on his “first day on the job,” has asked to remain anonymous, but through an attorney he said:
"What happened was egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence that should not be excused by the NFL."
I think it’s case closed for me at this point. My hope is that cameraman gets nothing, is publicly mocked and ridiculed, fired and banned from all NFL stadiums for life. Not a Raiders fan don’t play fantasy football.

Im pretty sure I saw some long term PTSD in there for the young fella. ( since people have a hard time NOT talking it wouldnt at all surprise me to see someone pop up soon and claim knowledge that this was premeditated)I still believe Adams was wrong to push the guy and should get fined. Adams should sue the Chiefs for not keeping the tunnel clear as required. Their inability to do their job made his workplace unsafe.
Would the cameraman have gone for this money grab if a Chief player had pushed him?
I hope the cameraman pulls through these life threatening injuries and can return back to his job in a few years. He has likely filed a work comp claim and will probably be “unable” to work for years. He will be certainly be able to milk at least 4-6 weeks of lost time pay at a minimum as he recovers with a lot of video game playing, weed smoking and chip eating.
I agree with you that Security failed as you describe it. Who employs the security for the stadium inside? Wouldn't those folks be at fault?....sue the Chiefs....
their was literally a uniformed police officer three feet away on the right side of the tunnel in addition to a security officer in yellow shirt on the right side even closer....and another one down the tunnel a little bit....unfortunately this guy came in from the left side where it's hard to tell if there was anybody there our not....(might have been the guy down in the tunnel helping get players through without incident further down so he left his "post" on the left for a bit)....maybe he felt he was better able to help down there then on the left side at that moment....so if you want to sue the Chiefs for not having somebody on the left side the entire time, of having someone but he left his "post".... I guess maybe you have a case.....but it wasn't like security "wasn't around"....they may just not have been on the left side at the moment this dude decided to cross into an area that he isn't supposed too and unfortunately nobody was there to stop him.....I don't know if they are required to have dudes on both sides of the tunnel and not ever leave their "post" but I think we are getting a little carried away here....sometimes there is only so much you can do and things happen....thats what I am chalking this up to "security wise"....people that are cleared to actually be down on the field and "working" the game aren't really probably posing as much of a threat as the fans in the stands up above the tunnel...and it sounds like camera guy violated one of the rules about being on the field.....IMO...

Thats a HELL of a first day on the job !!!!I'd like the league to weigh in on it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "stay out of the players way when they're coming off the field" policy that the camera man f'd up on.
After learning that it was the guys first day on the job, I'm REALLY interested in what the protocol is for someone doing his job.
Also, those guys holding the mics along the sidelines get creamed all the time. I would expect their to be some kind of liability waivers these guys have to sign.
Davante Adams caught 8-of-9 targets for 95 yards in the Raiders' Week 7 win over the Texans.
Adams led the Raiders in receiving on the day but didn't really get things going until the third quarter. Adams secured three of his eight receptions on the Raiders' sixth drive of the game, with one of those catches going for 16 yards -- his longest play on the day. He would later secure a 10-yard reception early in the fourth quarter to help set up a Josh Jacobs rushing touchdown and was a reliable chain mover all afternoon. The Raiders dominated on the ground throughout this one, but Adams still managed to see his third-most targets on the season. Adams continues to be in the WR1 conversation and should be treated as such next week against the Saints.

Davante Adams (illness) is active for Week 8 against the Saints.
Adams is battling the flu but will play against the Marshon Lattimore-less Saints. Inactive for the Raiders are Darren Waller (hamstring), RB Brittiain Brown, LB Jayon Brown, OT Jackson Barton, DT Matthew Butler, and DE Tashawn Bower.

I would personally rather have BrownWhat’s the thoughts RoS? As a benchmark, you rate him higher or lower than AJ Brown RoS?
I have them both and I don't know...AJB can be good but not amazing just because Philly gets out to big leads.I would personally rather have BrownWhat’s the thoughts RoS? As a benchmark, you rate him higher or lower than AJ Brown RoS?
The Raiders looked dreadful on Sunday. From what I've seen up until that point, they pound the run and use the run to set up the passing game. They got down a couple scores early and rather than sticking with what they are good at and chipping away at it, they panicked and abandoned their game plan.I have them both and I don't know...AJB can be good but not amazing just because Philly gets out to big leads.I would personally rather have BrownWhat’s the thoughts RoS? I don't think you will see AJB have a lot of games like what you saw Sunday but I drafted him in the 4th as my WR3 and he's been en fuego mostly.
Steelers are hot garbage right now
Hard to trust Adams and the LVR more so including the coaching staff. Maybe he was a lot sicker than we were all led to believe but we just watched McDaniels and the Raiders get SHUTOUT and that's hard to accomplish with Jacobs at RB and Adams as your WR1 from the games we saw up until Sunday.
Davante Adams (illness) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Adams played while dealing with the flu last week and the results weren't pretty. He caught one target for three yards, though Derek Carr posting his worst game of the year clearly contributed to the down day for Adams. Unless the illness is worse than previously reported, Adams should get back to practicing in full by the end of the week. He remains a WR1 for his Week 9 matchup with the Jags.

Davante Adams caught 10-of-17 targets for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders' Week 9 loss to the Jaguars.
Adams caught 25- and 38-yard touchdowns in the first half to stake the Raiders to a 17-0 lead, only for Vegas to blow it with zero second-half points. On a personal note, it was a great bounce-back effort for Adams after his one-catch day against the Saints in Week 8. Adams' 17 targets were 12 more than Foster Moreau's five, second on the Raiders. It was Adams' fourth 100-yard game of the year and his sixth and seventh touchdowns. Adams will have a bit of a tougher Week 10 draw against the Colts but is an obvious high-ceiling WR1. His floor is lower with Derek Carr than it was alongside Aaron Rodgers.

Davante Adams caught 9-of-14 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' Week 10 loss to the Colts.
Adams was not the problem in the Raiders' latest humiliating loss, this one to a high school coach who was still working for ESPN this time last Sunday. He's now caught at least eight balls in three of his past four appearances, and totaled 19/272/3 over his past two games. He could have had a fourth touchdown in that span this afternoon, but Derek Carr couldn't beat extremely sticky coverage from Stephen Gilmore on 4th-and-7 from the Colts' 16-yard line with 0:47 to go. Gilmore beat Adams 1-on-1 in the end zone. Adams' score was a 48-yarder where he took advantage of a slipping Julian Blackmon and broke some tackles near the goal line. Balling out for this decrepit team, Adams has a tough Week 11 assignment in Denver's Patrick Surtain.

Davante Adams (abdomen) remained "limited" on Thursday.
It's a new issue for Adams, but the back-to-back limited sessions keep him on track to suit up against Patrick Surtain and the Broncos. Stingy as Denver's coverage is, Adams still had a nine-catch game against it earlier this season. He remains locked in as a high-end WR1.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Davante Adams (abdomen) is expected to play in Week 11 against the Broncos.
Adams was listed as a limited participant in practice throughout the week because of the abdomen issue. He got a questionable tag on Friday. It's a tough matchup for the star receiver, but one he has beaten this year. In his first meeting with the Broncos, Adams caught nine passes for 101 yards. With Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller on injured reserve, nine catches could be the floor for Adams. He remains locked in for WR1 numbers this week.

Davante Adams (abdomen) is active for Week 11 against the Broncos.
Adams is dealing with an abdomen issue that limited him in all three practices this week. In the Raiders' first game without Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller, Adams posted a 9/161/1 line. He projects for a similar workload and WR1 fantasy numbers in Week 11.
Nov 20, 2022, 2:42 PM ET
Davante Adams caught 8-of-12 targets for 177 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders' 27-20 win over the Chargers.
Adams accounted for more than half of the Raiders' 250 passing yards on the day, with two of his receptions being good for 76 yards and two touchdowns. He and Derek Carr would connect for touchdowns on back-to-back drives, scoring from 31 and 45 yards out. The Adams/Carr connection has been a profitable one for those who took a shot on it this offseason. His 177-yard performance was good for his seventh 100+ yard game on the season, while his two-touchdown day marked his fourth multi-score game. Adams will likely see a good bit of Jalen Ramsey on Thursday night against the Rams, but as a matchup-proof WR1, he should be in for a nice day.
