Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald expects the Patriots to re-sign free agent WR Demaryius Thomas.
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk on NBC Sports previously reported that the Broncos, who Thomas spent his first eight-plus seasons with, were making a push for the five-time Pro Bowler. However, Guregian and many other Patriots beat reporters expect him back in Foxboro. In fact, Thomas could be brought back as soon as Sunday if New England decides to stash rookie N'Keal Harry (toe) on injured reserve as some have speculated. Demaryius missed most of the offseason while recovering from a torn Achilles but looked sharp in his preseason debut Thursday night, nabbing seven grabs for 87 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to the Giants.

New England.Any rumored landing spots for him? Gotta think he’s got enough left in the tank to help someone
Denver is reportedly a possibility. As a Sutton dynasty owner I’d be happy to see him resign with the Pats.Any rumored landing spots for him? Gotta think he’s got enough left in the tank to help someone
It's been discussed all over NE sports talk that NE needed a roster spot for someone else to put on IR and may even do so with Harry. Several people have suggested he may be re-signed as early as today.Talking heads in Boston say New England but I haven't heard Thomas speak yet. He had a pretty good contract with them and I wonder why he would go back to them for less? He is free to sign with any team.
Well, so does everyone else. Since he's already got one, I don't think it would be as big a priority as it would be for some.Demaryius wants a Super Bowl ring. That alone should be the clearest indication on where he will sign.
Florio is more than likely his own league source.FWIW, Florio articles cites a "league source" that Denver is interested in Thomas.

He doesn’t want to retire with just the one ring, he badly wants a second one.Well, so does everyone else. Since he's already got one, I don't think it would be as big a priority as it would be for some.
Minnesota now doesn't make sense to me.He doesn’t want to retire with just the one ring, he badly wants a second one.
Vikings, their really thin after AT, SD.Any rumored landing spots for him? Gotta think he’s got enough left in the tank to help someone
Didn't Harry go on IR?Look forward to 5 wide sets after preseason (September):
Edelman, Gordon, Harry, DT, Watson
Harry can't play the first 8 weeks. And I would substitute Watson for White, as he will be the more lethal one compared to Watson.Look forward to 5 wide sets after preseason (September):
Edelman, Gordon, Harry, DT, Watson
Watson suspendido 4 games, DT old, Harry IR'd, Edelman old and constantly hurt, Gordon one beer away from out of NFL and has only caught more than 51 balls once in any season, ever -college or pro. vastly overrated.Look forward to 5 wide sets after preseason (September):

Apparently we found the hill you are willing to die on . . .Watson suspendido 4 games, DT old, Harry IR'd, Edelman old and constantly hurt, Gordon one beer away from out of NFL and has only caught more than 51 balls once in any season, ever -college or pro. vastly overrated.
you're missing Jakobi Meyers the #1 WR in NE.![]()
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Patriots have yet to rule out Demaryius Thomas (questionable, hamstring) for Week 1 against the Steelers.
All signs point to Thomas being a game-time decision for Sunday Night Football. The ex-Bronco got in a limited week of practice, though it may not be enough as Rapsheet expects the Pats to be "cautious not to aggravate his hamstring further." No better than third on the team's depth chart (and fourth when Antonio Brown arrives next week), Thomas doesn't merit much fantasy consideration.

Jets acquired WR Demaryius Thomas from the Patriots in exchange for a 2021 sixth-round pick.
Fleeced.Pats get a 6 for a guy the Jets could have had for free?
Jets acquired WR Demaryius Thomas from the Patriots in exchange for a 2021 sixth-round pick.
Thomas didn't even make the Patriots' official 53-man roster — they wanted to avoid guaranteeing his contract — and they were still able to flip him for a sixth-rounder eight days after re-signing him. The Patriots will stay winning. Bill Belichick is moving on because there was no longer space on the roster following Antonio Brown's shock acquisition. In New York, Thomas will be reuniting with coach Adam Gase, who was in Denver for the best years of Thomas' career in 2013-14. That was a long time and one Achilles injury ago. The Jets had been carrying only five wideouts. Thomas won't have fantasy value in his new home, but his arrival is bad news for Quincy Enunwa.

DT isn't subject to waivers so the Jets would've had to sign him as a FA (& that was unlikely). Why didn't the Jets sign him after NE waived him? Unless he refused to play there.
Patriots are a bunch of jerks.
... they can't keep effing getting AWAY WITH THIS!!!!
Perhaps they tried.DT isn't subject to waivers so the Jets would've had to sign him as a FA (& that was unlikely).
I'm assuming DT is now ok with going to the Jets with AB in town.
N'Keal Harry? Or am I missing something here in autocorrect?Perhaps they tried.
According to reports, the Pats needed to waive Thomas to put Harry Henderson on IR.
Nope. Belichick is trying to hide this guy from the rest of the league. Gronk replacement.N'Keal Harry? Or am I missing something here in autocorrect?
Hmmm...outsmarting the league yet again with his out of the box, yet family-friendly, thinking.
Thanks for your feedback. Sorry you feel the Pats are a bunch of jerks. Your contribution is something as well. Have fun!Your contribution here.... well it's something, I guess.
Coach Adam Gase told reporters Thursday that recently-acquired WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) won't practice until at least Saturday.
The Jets traded a 2021 sixth-round pick for an injured 31-year-old WR that is coming off an Achilles injury. But hey, Thomas sure looked good in Week 4 of the preseason. He's not a fantasy football option while Sam Darnold (mono) is sidelined.

Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) is officially questionable for Week 2 against the Browns.
Thomas is truly questionable after not practicing all week. Even if he suits up, he's not a recommended play with Trevor Siemian. The 31-year-old is a candidate to replace Quincy Enunwa's snaps whenever he gets cleared to play.

Demaryius Thomas exited Monday night's Week 2 game against the Browns with a hamstring injury and will not return.
Thomas came into this one questionable with a hammy pull and apparently re-injured it, or the Jets, who were getting steamrolled, simply decided to end his night early. Before leaving Thomas mustered negative-one yards on one catch across two targets. His one catch led all non-Le'Veon Bell Jets players at halftime.

Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) is week to week.
Thomas made it only seven snaps before tapping out on Monday evening. With Gang Green already down to its third-string quarterback, it really doesn't matter if Thomas is available. It sounds like he will miss Week 3.

Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.
Thomas missed practice all last week, was active for Monday night's loss to the Browns, and then got hurt again. He's well off the fantasy radar right now.

The New York Post doesn't expect Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) to play this week.
Thomas hasn't practiced since his Week 2 setback. He's likely out Sunday and may be looking at a multi-game absence.

Demaryius Thomas is still receiving the guaranteed monies due from his contract this week.
