WR Emeka Egbuka, TB (2 Viewers)

The Egg man doesn’t need a ton of targets to produce for fantasy. What a stud.
If you are looking at reranking the 2025 rookies for the rest of the season or for dynasty, I think Egbuka and Hampton are the 2 guys in the discussion for 1.01

He's got to be a fringe WR1 while Evans is out. I'm not sure Godwin will be himself this year or at least until late in the year.
10 TARGETS for Godwin, I wouldn't write him off just yet with Evans out a couple more games at minimum
I don’t think anyone is writing him off. I said I don’t think he’ll be himself until later this year or next year. He clearly wasn’t the Chris Godwin we’re used to.

And I'm saying he had a steep hill to climb today, I'll be happy to take 10 targets next week on the road in Seattle
I understand what your saying but that's easy based on what he produced Game 1 back from a year off...I want to see another game or two before I say he's a write off for '25

My issue is not with you, I'm sure many will echo what you're saying, I see it different

Love Godwin. Have carried him on my dynasty team since 2018. Expecting him to be a viable option as the season progresses.

Poses next to zero concern to me in an Egbuka discussion.

Will Egbuka eventually have a disappointing fantasy game when Evans and Godwin are both back on the field, sure. It probably happens before that. It doesn't mean he's not a set it and forget it starter in fantasy for what I can only hope is years and years.

As far as I'm concerned the only debate on where Egbuka stands is amongst the top half of fantasy WR1s in the league.

Thanking about offering Chase for him he’s that good!
Not sure I take that deal at the moment. Baker is playing out of his mind. An incomplete pass is rare for him these days. That and Egbuka’s natural talent is just too good. He is untouchable.

Even moreso yesterday. Egbuka was 7-163-1 on....7 targets. Baker dropped everyone one of them right in there and some of them were not easy throws.

Still, Baker has been playing out of his mind for well over a year now, so no reason it can't continue. I want as many shares of both as I can acquire though, of course, it's near impossible to acquire Egbuka currently.

I'm considering offering JJ/Rome for JSN/Egbuka in a league since I'm not nearly as confident in Rome going forward, but honestly I'm not sure that gets it done.

Early second round pick next year maybe even end of first

I took him in the 5th this year and our most astute player muttered "I was hoping to get him in a keeper round" (we can keep 1 player a year drafted in the 8th round or later). I just laughed. No way that was happening!

Got him in the 5th in a 12 man (50th) and someone immediately texted me to ask why I reached for him that he would’ve been there in the 7th.

As someone who has shares of all 4 of those guys. I'm not really sure which side I'd prefer. I still kinda default to trusting JJ the most, so I guess that one, but its a coin flip.
