WR Treylon Burks, Free Agent (1 Viewer)

Weird exchange before the game-
"Any update on Treylon Burks? He's been on IR since October"

Eligible to come off IR and neither reporters nor coaches mentioned it this week
Biggest bust since Kevin White.
Jahan Dotson says hold my Philly Cheesesteak
I think Jaelon Raegor and JJ Arcega-Whiteside took a few bites.

Also, Laquon Treadwell is happy nobody has mentioned him yet.
Henry Ruggs says I'll drive to get the sandwiches
:lmao:
:lmao: :lmao:

He was at least good though until, you know...

So, hard to call him a bust on the field.

I raise you a N’Keal Harry. 2nd WR off the board in 2019 taken ahead of Deebo, AJ Brown and Terry McLaurin. That was my first ever rookie draft in a dynasty league and I had the 1.02. Thank goodness the person Infront of me took Harry and took that decision out of my hands leaving me with Josh Jacobs.

Tyrone Calico, Kenny Britt, Treylon Burks…I fell for each of them…
I fell for Treylon as a rookie. I'm afraid his WR78 finish is going to be his best of his career.
There was plenty of warning signs with Burks pre draft. I paid attention.
His size is what drew me in. He's a monster!
Same, got him for a deal after he didn’t do much initially…but have not had good luck with Titan receivers.

Just never had much of a chance to get any traction. Not sure it would have resulted in anything significant, but feel bad for the guy as he just cannot seem to stay healthy.

Man, 18th overall pick?

What a disappointment. I remember trying to buy-low on him a few years ago and being told he was untouchable.

Wonder how that manager is doing these days, let’s take a - oh, he just dropped him.

This guy was supposed to replace AJ Brown. Ooooooooof.
He's being blamed as the catalyst for a championship team falling to the worst team. That's too much but it's not but it is but...what a terrible landing spot for him.

He's worked out with Julio and Nuk and Ocho and Ridley and maybe Fitz I forget. He couldn't be more well trained or coached or whatever word- mentored?

Huge bust but some GM will some day sign him to see if a fresh start helps. He's too much a prototype and we've seen it many times. Elite athletes stick around with more n more tryouts

But Bri, he was never an elite athlete. I DND’d this guy coming out of college because of his no position and mediocre athleticism.

Terrible pick and trade. Fired GM. Good riddance.

The year he came out, I was in need of WR badly with deeeep rosters. I drafted him in the 1st round I believe. I IMMEDIATELY knew I blew the pick when dude showed up out of shape, was barfing on the field, and was constantly dinged. Like every time this guy touched the field, he hurt himself some how. I don't understand how a physical specimen that he was is ALWAYS hurt. Didn't he also have headaches or migraines starting off? Zero toughness!

Definitely a blown pick, but the NFL landscape is littered with highly drafted WRs who absolutely busted. Kevin White of the Bears is just one other example.

It's a tough position for even the best NFL scouts to gauge after watching guys dominate on tape in college against weaker opponents - the precision required at the position often can't translate to the big stage.
