My gut reaction live was that this was an immature kid who had a bad penalty followed by a bad play. Followed by some time to reflect, I think it was an immature penalty followed by a competitive player's drive to score at all costs...followed by a lot of frustration (when he hurt his hand on the bench). I'd rather see that kind of fire and frustration than someone who just went and pouted about it. He was impressive - and I believe him when he says he'll learn.
Agree with most of that, but he should have known to not taunt in a game this important. Not like it was one the officials were going to overlook. Pretty blatant to not only stand over the DB and yack at him, but then to spin the ball basically in his face. Just stupid. But apparently the coaches didn't cover this during the week because Van Noy took the bait when he pushed Kelce. It was so obvious what Kelce was trying to do and I hate that shiot, but he fell for it. Penalty shouldn't have been called but still should have just walked away from that D-Bag in that situation.
Hopefully he grows into a man by then.

I am, but I was a loyal and devoted reader of Peter King for years and years and he RAVED about Flowers his rookie year in camp. Said he was one of the most polished receivers he'd ever seen and, well.....that was enough for me to load up on him in dynasty drafts. After seeing his playoff performance (the good parts) I made a decision to back my bets, like a hot roller on a craps' table. I'm all in on this guy.

You do realize that's all game planning and using what's working. If the Ravens can run that effectively every week, it has to affect Flower's number of targets. I believe this is more about that then Flowers.

That is something as fantasy players we will always have to deal with from time to time. I think Flowers is a great dynasty asset gong forward, but I get it, they like to run the ball right now. Hell, he could be Mark Andrews.

I was wondering the same thing. Aside from the injury, I just wonder if it's similar to the Detroit situation in that the offense is so unstoppable that from one week to the next there is a randomness to which pass catchers eat. Flowers isn't Amon-Ra and Goff doesn't run like Lamar so in one sense they're very different offenses but I just think there will be this kind of variance and that Henry and Lamar are the only 2 Ravens with safe/elite floors. I was expecting a lot more from Flowers last night that's for sure. He had that bad fumble too not sure if that played a part.
He was just hurt.
Yeah I agree about his talent assessment - I have been comparing him to Tyreek in his shiftiness (others have said that as well) - When I said he isn't Amon-Ra I was thinking from a target-commanding perspective, and yes even though they're different they are certainly on par in terms of talent or close enough. My gut said last night was mostly about the injury. Thanks for sharing that eversion info, I've never heard of that either.
