I will and have reviewed teams missing PK & DSTs as viable K and defenses wind down.If the strongest teams may miss out on one, I'll may go three Ds or time 2nd K to make it happen. It's hard to tell what is going to happen sometimes.Atlanta DST was not selected at all in WSL 3.el super gringo said:replying here although this could go in discussion thread: i hadn't given it much thought to be honest. i just figured everyone would take 2 and so i could wait on atlanta til the 19th or 20th. funny cuz i had atlanta right in the middle, next to oakland, nowhere near the 32nd. so i make my jason hill pick and then when i'm updating the first post i start looking at it and say oh whups. too late. truth is, in the 14th when i took bo scaife i was looking at a set of DEFs but they all seemed like value i could get in the 15th. then i took WR in 15. noob mistake. but since it's all about balance, i guess one pretty good defense (seattle) is balanced by Vernon Davis, Donald Lee, and Bo Scaife.Jeff Pasquino said:el super gringo said:astute observation JP, the_sig you are added to my hate list. but good strat thinking i guess. i hope i take your receiverthe_sig said:Jeff Pasquino said:Actually I believe that there are two teams with one and two with 3....With that 17.06 pick...I had my eye on a WR (who may still be there later, anyways)...but I figured the likelyhood of that WR8 on my squad contributing pts weekly was lower than that of a DEF3, since my DEF's are 'middle of the road' at best imo.

Remember, one of the goals of your first Survivor Draft should be to learn strategy for next time.
I haven't been in any of these survivor leagues here until now, but I decided to go back and read all the critiques that had been posted of recently drafted WSL1-3 teams. I noticed the critique (by you, or someone) that an owner left a DEF2 for his squad undrafted to get like a RB6 that would likely never contribute, etc....that comment stuck in my head.
