Actually I believe that there are two teams with one and two with 3....
 With that 17.06 pick...I had my eye on a WR (who may still be there later, anyways)...but I figured the likelyhood of that WR8 on my squad contributing pts weekly was lower than that of a DEF3, since my DEF's are 'middle of the road' at best imo.
astute observation JP, the_sig you are added to my hate list. but good strat thinking i guess. i hope i take your receiver :-P
  Remember, one of the goals of your first Survivor Draft should be to learn strategy for next time.
replying here although this could go in discussion thread: i hadn't given it much thought to be honest. i just figured everyone would take 2 and so i could wait on atlanta til the 19th or 20th. funny cuz i had atlanta right in the middle, next to oakland, nowhere near the 32nd. so i make my jason hill pick and then when i'm updating the first post i start looking at it and say oh whups. too late. truth is, in the 14th when i took bo scaife i was looking at a set of DEFs but they all seemed like value i could get in the 15th. then i took WR in 15. noob mistake. but since it's all about balance, i guess one pretty good defense (seattle) is balanced by Vernon Davis, Donald Lee, and Bo Scaife.
It's hard to tell what is going to happen sometimes.Atlanta DST was not selected at all in WSL 3.

 I haven't been in any of these survivor leagues here until now, but I decided to go back and read all the critiques that had been posted of recently drafted WSL1-3 teams. I noticed the critique (by you, or someone) that an owner left a DEF2 for his squad undrafted to get like a RB6 that would likely never contribute, etc....that comment stuck in my head.
I will and have reviewed teams missing PK & DSTs as viable K and defenses wind down.If the strongest teams may miss out on one, I'll may go three Ds or time 2nd K to make it happen.

Im going to go

R. Lindell K

Just taking extra time so that fiddles has more opportunity to think about his picks

18.07 Jay Feeley, PK MIA

If not in the NFL, then he probably has a gig lined up with ESPN. Cold Pizza or First Take or whatever they are calling that morning show now. Good luck with that!

This guy shouldn't still be on the board, so I'll be happy to take him.

Antwaan Randle El, WR, Washington Redskins
Why it pays to keep up with the news....
Redskins head coach Jim Zorn indicated that Antwaan Randle El will be a slot receiver in his offense.

"In this particular offense, you've got to have a great inside receiver," Zorn said. "I'm just hoping that he really excels." Zorn will likely use a lot of three-receiver sets, so Randle El's playing time shouldn't diminish much. He could by Zorn's new Bobby Engram.Source: Washington Times

not just that but they just cut brandon lloyd today. i was gonna take randle el in the 13th and passed, then it seemed like everyone forgot about him. i had him penciled as my pick this round but in retrospect should have taken him where i took jason hill.

I think I accidentally took him off my board when I took Santana Moss. Really like the guy more than this, he'll put up a couple nice games each year. But, he's a better football player than FF.

About flippin' time they cut someone in Washington. They still have Brunell - BRUNELL!!!!!Lloyd went around Round 12 in the other 3 WSLs, so he's a steal here no doubt.

my fault on the b lloyd name drop but i think JP's comment was about randle el getting taken in the 12th in the other 3 WSL's.

anyway

my pick is 18.10 TORONTO AR... playin

18.10 Matt Bryant, PK, TB

pm'd next two

Absolutely, hence the comment.

surprised he is still here....he went nearly 5 rounds earlier in each prior WSL.

Here is to hoping he lands in a good situation :link:

18.11 Ernest Wilford, WR, JAX??

this brings up a good point - we should absolutely be finished by the 29th. although we're mostly finished the significant stuff, who knows what'll happen then. guys are still on the board that could land in great situations on the 29th.

beachbum left me his number in a PM for i think the 17th round. not sure if he wants me to call him or not, but if he doesn't post during lunch i'll give him a ring. or if anyone else wants to lemme know and i'll fwd you the #

We should be done (like 30 picks left) but I doubt anything Earth-shattering happens on 2/29.

Yea, nice pick, but I just feel like Philly is going to go after a wideout in Free Agency or the draft.
as a diehard philly fan with a firm dose of reality, i can pretty much guarantee you there won't be a WR picked before the 2nd day of the draft, and we won't grab any of them in free agency. as much talk as there is, it's mostly from folks who don't know what they're talking about. philly's draft and free agency priorities are OL/DE/CB/S.with the way avant has performed and his consistent hands and hard work, i think this year he could take a prominent role. waiting on JPs comment post-draft
