;) Just checking in at lunch. Since we are not doing anything anyway......I made a new year's resolution to lose weight and get in better shape. I have been doing the Atkins Diet including no caffeine. I am drinking at least 64 ounces of water daily. I have worked out for 24 days in January, mostly treadmill.I have lost eighteen pounds and am feeling good.Carry on.
First, congrats! That's awesome - 18 frigin pounds in a hair under a month is insane.I am inspired by this as I just got a treadmill - actually being delivered today. Really looking forward to getting back in shape. Been doing weights, but the lack of cardio has started to show.(As for the no caffeine thing - don't think I could handle that. Not a several cups a day kind of person, but I definitely need 1-2 in the morning.)Second, happy birthday! So how old?Third, my apologies again to everyone for my hold up yesterday. I believe it was the only time I have ever timed out in any of these drafts over the years. It was not a normal day by any means, so hopefully everyone understands.

That is awesome news bro! Keep up the fight! My last name is Atkins, so of course, I've tried the diet. I had a hell of a time trying to get thru the no caffeine part. Headaches were unbearable. If I can figure out a way to make it past that, I'd be home free, because I don't mind the rest of it.

It sucks that we've hit the wall like this, but it's still a walk in the park compared to the MSBL2 draft last year. That was a nightmare. Worst draft EVER! I think Fiddles can co-sign on that one. He was in that draft also. That said, let's get this thing rolling again.
Hey Jeff, Sounds like I just missed out on that Hyperactive league by 1 vote. ARGGH.. The guy at the end that went Commish's way must have sealed the deal for me. Wish the poll had been made public as I'd have been pushing those last few votes home. Oh well, I like drafting from scratch anyway. Probably would have been cursed trying to take over Don's team anyway. lol...

TL, I heard the vote was close as well.If it makes you feel any better - everyone in the league (I am in it) thought so highly of each of you three guys - that others have said you guys should get in first next year (if anyone drops).I would definitely second that - that each of you get on the top of a list for replacements.Hopefully you will be in it sooner, rather than later.

Yeah that sucks, but I have a feeling your gonna get in sooner or later though. It's a good league. Very competitive. 1 vote? Damn! I kinda wish we could have seen the results, but thats the way it goes sometimes.I know what you mean about starting from scratch, but at least it would offer a different challenge.

Nice pick Bass; might have had to grab him if you didn't.

10.16 WR Brandon Jones

I was afraid of that because I'd thought about sluff him one more time.
Hard to with thinking that I already have 2.5 starting RBs, but if Lynch ends up in Houston (doubtful but possible), that would have locked up the Texans running game.
I guess I made the right call as you passed on Balt D.

10.15 Domanick Williams, RB
Who?
Was Domanick Davis RB Texans, now Domanick Williams
Why did he change his name? Did he get married to one of the Williams sisters?
named it after his mom's
Worked for MJD.He's reporting that he's working out heavy with no pain. He's also looking for a contract. That may be a total bust of a pick, but the upside outweighed most anyone else left.

Hey Jeff,Here's a link:

I'm (Louisville Legends) and I'm in first place overall heading into the Superbowl. My two players are Peyton Manning and Thomas Jones, so I have a GOOD shot at taking first place and the $5,500 top prize, but with DOUBLE POINTS in the Superbowl, anything can happen. Reggie or Marvin could go off and seal my fate, but if I had to pick one team right now, I'd pick mine. It's a good position to be in, but I've seen the Superbowl change up the leaderboard, so I'm not counting anything before it happens.

Heard you were a little late on the entry this year, that was a bummer. How would your team have done? Hopefully it saved you some loot.

Good to see we're working from the same list  as that was my other consideration. Just thought that getting one of the last few WRs who might get more than 1-2 weeks scoring would be better.

Was hoping ... Chicago would drop (Last year the first D's went in the 11th and 12th).

10.14 Tavaris Jackson
believe me Twilight, I'd rather not have drafted the CHI-D in the 10th round, but it was clear to me w/H-T-F and others at the bottom of the draft had they been there in the 11th, they'd be goneI researched who was in these things and took D's early last yr, so I felt if I was going to have 1 of the top couple D's, it was 10th round or bust

w/this train wreck I'm putting together, a top producer at D was absolutely neccessary--reasons for passing on Raven-D will follow in due time

I don't think I have ever taken a D that early, but I could be wrong.

FM took Chi-D @11.10 last yr, and you took them 12.1......which had me believe they wouldn't make it past the 11.11, but as others have mentioned, you wouldn't have seen them there either

I was surprised when I read this - so I went to check it out.You are correct. I took a DST at 12.01.

I was also correct in that it was the earliest I did so.

I checked on a few others from last year - and though this might be tipping my hand a little

WSL - 12.01

SSL - 13.15

MBSL - 14.01

In other news - that means in those three leagues I had the 16th, 15th, and 16th picks.

Yes, just saw this post.I was about 3 hours before Saturday kickoff, was on the fence if I was going to play.

I'll have to dig up my roster and see how I would have done.

From memory:

Brady

SA

LT2

Westbrook

Harrison

Colston

Mark Clayton

Shockey

Nugent

Bears

no KC or Dal.

Let me know where I'd be......
