Technically you can't be on your phone if you have a hand. Some dealers don't give a #### tho.

There was a big blow up over this on day 1B...one guy told the dealer to control the table regarding a player on his phone.  Some choice words were exchanged and one ended up with a 3 round penalty and the other one round

I played in one last week and there was one ####er on his phone the entire time and most of the dealers were threatening him with a penalty. Really slows up the game.

This. This is exactly what I said yesterday. He's going to have a wide range and you need to get a little lucky. Open up your calling range when he does this. Just be careful that others may be waiting for him as well.

He probably would have known even without "onslaught" written on it, but he won't be expecting it and might have been puzzled initially since he won't be thinking "FBG."  Writing it on there guarantees he'll know instantly and will know Ditka is an FBG right away.
