Yes it's essentially the same. Go for the XB1.

Yep, basically the same with the One being able to bring forward saves that are done on a 360. So if a friend has a 360 with minecraft, they can come over to your house and log in with their gamertag, and pull down their Minecraft 360 saves to your One.

This would be good for someone like me that doesn't use cable TV, so my projector doesn't have TV on it at all.

I think they also have an extra $30 bump on trade ins where they're not a true 250gb model.

Had anyone had luck fixing a broken controller? My son dropped one and the left stick is broken. Some youtube videos suggest a fix, but I'd have to buy a couple tools to get it open and I can't be certain its fixable until I get at look at the problem. The left stick is still in place, but moves freely and is not engaged, not working.

On the 360 I replaced many broken analog sticks but haven't looked inside the play station ones or the xone, but they sell replacements for decent prices. The issues is fine if it's just the stick, but if its the mechanical joint that got jammed or bent then you are sol pretty much as they don't sell replacements for those.

PC to Xb1 is still in the works and, as I understand it, not very far along.

Picked up a Hauppauge digital tuner for the XB1 today. A plug and play device that works perfectly.

Another +1 for the Xbox.

I found myself liking my PS3 more than my Xbox 360, but this generation it seems to be switching to where I like the XB1 more than the PS4.
